At Wincanton 3.00 TANGOLAN we have followed this horse a few times and has schooled well over the fences and working really well. From the same yard of my good friend Fergal O'Brien and ridden by Conor Shoemark who is a future star, you won't find a nicer lad than Conor who won on Emily's Flyer for me when he was an amateur. You can be sure he will give KING MURO a good ride the horse is working well and should be good value at 11/1 tonight. Back on the flat I think at Redcar 3.20 DI'S GIFT EW should run well. GLA

The reason for this he use say horses go over the top after a long season and trainers carry on running them to get a few pound off the handicapper so it gives them a better rating to start next season. I know this to be true because I have told my trainers in the past to run them when they wanted to put them away. For this reason I tend to turn to NH at this time of year. Not great racing today so my first selection is at Uttoxeter 1.50 TASTE THE WINE he's fit and well connections expect a big run. At Carlisle 2.40 FREDERIC CHOPIN has very good flat form and jumped well first time it's a stiff track close to home. Also at Carlisle in the 5.00 MINELLA HERO with the able Finian O'Toole claiming 10lb as stable apprentice. GLA

National Hunt racing is gearing up and we start at Wetherby 2.10 OUR THOMAS Tim Easterby has a great record of winning the 1st at this course. He has 3 in the race but OUR THOMAS owned by Trevor Hemmings has very good flat form but jumping is his future. At Worcester in the 3.25 WHERE'S CHERRY she's a lovely looking filly by top National Hunt stallion KING's THEATRE been working very well and Paddy is on board. The 4.45 Nottingham looks a real competitive handicap but my old friend Mike Dods should have the answer with front runner GOWANHARRY. All bets are each way. GLA

GLEESE THE DEVIL and TEA IN TRANSVAAL made it a profitable day for me 8 single bets but 14/1and 5/1 made it a good day. Typical Sunday racing tomorrow but we try for a bit of value. At Goodwood 2.00 MR FICKLE is in a good vane of form and should run a big race. MAKETHEDIFFERNCE is well thought of by Tim Vaughan yard and should go close. In the 4.30 Chepstow ROADIE JOE who has won for us a couple of times this season and the stable is in good form with TEA IN TRANSVAAL for us today is expected to continue to improve again. All my bets are EACH WAY with prices of 4/1 or over. GLA
