This is the time when Nigel Twiston-Davies starts getting the early NH winners. He brings the horses in from their summer rest early July and after plenty of road work they will have had plenty of work on his fabulous gallops uphill in the Cotswalds. This season also using the same gallops will be Fergal O'Brien who has moved from Timmy Murphy's stud to the Upper Yard at Grange Hill Farm and back to where he was Head Lad for 15yrs with Nigel. So we can expect plenty of early winners from both trainers. What I like about the gallops is when it's raining there's a green Double decker bus on the gallops to keep you dry? Wednesday at Perth NH card is very competitiv. In the 3.30 Nigel has Sam on Board BAR A MINE and you can be sure he will be fit for this 2ml 7fgs. The stables other runners LITTLE POP probably has a squeak. At Ripon I like the name of BLACK HAMBLETON of Brian Smarts that's what they called the old racecourse there going back before York and Kevin Ryan's grass gallops are the old racecourse with Brian Smarts stables Hambleton House I Lived adjoining Kevin's Hambleton Lodge in the Hambleton Inn, Les Eyres was occupying Smarts stable then. I have hard word 3 horses are working well in that that 2.45 at Ripon so will leave it alone. In the 2.10 Ripon WELD AL KHAWANEEJ has improved with each race and can do well in this company look who's riding Fergal was Kevin's first stable jockey? In the 5.35 Redcar LAVETTA again in the Late Guy Reeds Colours with Robert Winston on board is my best bet. SELECTION FOR WEDNESDAY -: 5.35 Red. LAVETTA. EW. GLA
