At Newbury 2.00 THREE FACES WEST very impressive win last time out. 3.10 SHANTOU TIGER EW 3.40 CAP SOLIEL has been working very well but no price I was hoping about 5/1 but no chance opened in places at 13/8. I will be quiet on here for a few days because family bereavement. GLA

Unlucky horse of the day MONDAY CLUB badly hampered 2 out came back squeezed between 2 on the run in and came 3rd beaten 1/2 length. At Wincanton tomorrow 1.40 ROYAL SALUTE done many of them in my days, was unlucky in running last time. In the 2.10 BARNEY DWAN much easier race than he was in at Exeter last week which included THE NEW ONE but was cancelled because of frost. I thought he would win that day he has been working exceptionally well and schooled brilliantly a pity about the price. In the 3.40 I'M STILL WAITING EW disappointed last time but has schooled very well and has always worked well and deserves a punt at 33/1 WHills or 48/1 Betfair exchange. An exciting weekend ahead with good info. I have had ante post bet on VIVA STEVE for Welsh Grand National at 98/1 with Betfair. GLA

Just bumped into one of my old employee Gareth Lee who half owns SINOUR in the 2.50 his trainer has told him to have a bet today so I will see what betfair offer for a place bet 44.00 on betfair for win and 8.8 for a plaice but think this will drift out. Going is soft and will be even softer by start of racing as drizzling at moment. So a place for SINOUR ( ex AGA KHAN) horse on betfair at 9.00 or above. GLA There's a big word for Henderson horse in the first race here on the course.

I am going to Ffos Las tomorrow but not a great CARD but looks better than Plumpton. No serious bets 12.45 MONDAY CLUB imressed with his first run over hurdles. In the 1.15 JAMESON 1.45 WEST WIZARD both these horses belong to Dai Walters who owns the course and Davy Russell coming over to ride both so a double for me on form.2.20 MAKETHEDIFFERENCE EW ran very well at Newbury in a Class1 last time out. In the 3.20 WALK ON AL I would love Conor to win this race before he is suspended for 15days which he got for his brilliant ride on PERFECT CANDIDATE last Friday the horse has been working and schooled very good. In the last race the Bumper APOLLO CREED I will have a few bob on as had a horse of similar name. I will steer away from tips from Venetia Williams stable for a while as some of her horses are running badly!!!GLA

After great racing on Saturday it's back to reality on Sunday. Only a couple of fancies Southwell 1.20 UNDISPUTED EW only beaten a neck by WIZARDS SLIABH who we were on at 10/1 on 3rd November and I know what they think of that horse at Fergals yard and I nearly bought it as a 3yo but thought 30,000 was to much? But going on that race my money is on UNDISPUTED. At Carlisle 1.35 SAROQUE EW let's hope with Aidan Coleman riding he does better than the word I had for Vanetia horse today this is going well at home. GLA

I'm happy with my winnings today had really big bets for me on NO DUFFER and THE NEW ONE who I got at 3/1 on Betfair Boom and with the ground now soft thought he was a cert I have won lots on him since his first win at Kempton 4years ago and I was there that day. A great day for me 18/1second beaten a nose on the line but I also had the exacta Paddy and Conor !! KAPSTADT 12/1 won very easy and that was good info from my old yard. Tomorrow is great racing and Saturdays is so competitive as all the top grade races are on Saturday mostly. At Doncaster 11.50 ALWAYS ON THE RUN Paddy riding for his old yard of Tom George. Paddy turned down rides at Cheltenham to ride here. 12.55 NO DUFFER EW Paddy has won on this horse 4 times for Tom and could be his fifth win on him here. Don 1.30 ALL SET TO GO can be a Saturday winner for Nichols with Harry Cobden claiming 3lb. In the 2.05 GIVE ME A COPPER is very highly thought by Nichols pity about the price. At Cheltenham 1.15 OWEN NA VIEW EW a small bet here it depends what mood he's in but wouldn't want to much rain!! 1.50 KINGS ODYSSEY EW good local vibes on this local trained horse. Finally my old friend who I have fed mints to several times 3.00 THE NEW ONE he's in great form I am a bit disappointed it's not a Chase as he has schooled brilliantly but he should take this with the champ on him for the first time. 'GORGEOUS GEORGE' which is the stable name for Cheltenham 3.45 POETIC RHYTHM EW I watched him schooled brilliantly and after his win in the listed Bumper at the last meeting he proved he's got speed and likes this track. It's a hard race for first time out over hurdles but he has some value about him and he's got the Tom George and Nicky Hendersons horses to beat!! In the 1.30. PERFECT CANDIDATE EW twice a winner over course and distance is in great form and come on for his first run of the season and Conor will give him a great ride. 2.40 TEMPLEROSS Tom Humphries claims 10lb and nobody is better than Nigel for readying one for Cheltenham. 3.15 KAPSTADT EW for my old friend Ian Williams who's horses are in great form. Morning All. At Newcastle 1.45 MONEY MAID EW from one of my old stables and Graeme who is also a QC knows how to get them spot on. In the 2.20 ANNIE ALLAINE she been bouncing since her last win and stable are quite confident. Paddy looks to have some good rides today and in the Bumper there's good word for Paddy's ride OFFSHORE OSCAR EW. GLA

Leicester 1.25 TOWERING looks good enough to take this. 2.55 TRAPPERS PEAK impressed with his last run last time and can follow up. Hexham 1.15 LANDMEAFORTUNE EW looks an improver and I like the name. Hope to have some good info for Cheltenham and other meetings Friday and Saturday. GLA

Did have a 2yo for tomorrow that is flying at home, but opened short while ago 14/1 but is now 5/2 MILBURN JACK now 3.45 Kempton tomorrow I managed 8/1 but couldn't get another bet on.?!!!

disconcerted good post agree with the ROYAL HOLIDAY selsction with Robert Winston ridding. Couldn't have a better jockey on board. Robert rode at least 40 times for me and gave me my biggest grade winner at Doncaster. Been told it has a very good chance today. Not a lover of all weather racing had a couple of winners with Jack Berry and Richard Fahey but I stopped running my horses on the sand felt sorry for my horses as very often they come in distressed from the kick back.
