RE: Molefe Superpit potential25 Jun 2026 14:42
Molefe mine at the end of June 2026 will deliver > 1.8% copper from pit 2 and pit 3 (pre-stripping done and hitting the reef with higher percentage). This ore will be moved to Sable. Cost for processing this will be higher than for copper fines and profit calculations for 6,000 tonnes to 8,000 tonnes within 3 months should be 13,000 USD - 7,000 USD (mining, diesel, sable) or $ 6,000 USD profit x 108 tonnes - 144 tonnes (after 3 months) or S 650,000 USD increasing to $ 850,000 USD per month. Assumption: Sorting not required for areas with high concentration of copper? Molefe sorter will be fully functional in the coming 4-6 months and high % ore they will mine after pre-stripping will bridge the gap? What do I miss?
