0.6% growth but the economy is slowing down. Next quarter will reflect the measures beginning in April Tax year disastrously announced in the Autumn Budget.
The only positive outcome possible in the next three years is that the Labour party will virtually disappear.

The fate of Lloyds Bank sp is intertwined with this government and the economy. No escaping that.
Been telling you Troubled for what must be 9/10 months that the current aspirational bunch in Cabinet and without are not capable of providing the growth the country needs to get it out of trouble. They just don't get it. Everything they do just makes it worse. Worse that the Tories. The smallish proportion of the country that got to vote recently confirms others can see it. A countrywide vote would have consigned the Labour party to the annuals of history. They don't have the intellect, or the advice. They are divided just like the Tories were.
Now we have 4 possible candidates with Raynor's HMRC issue settled now.
The best candidate is possibly AB, who does not have a seat. The wannabe's are racing to get in before he does.
Economic figures out at 7am will not be pretty...
Someone has to take control and steer the ship away from the rocks but the left wing will not allow it. What a glorious mess. The current captain has his headphones on and two eye patches and is steering the UK onto the rocks.
And you just cannot see it. Growth is the only way and no one in Labour will be able to provide it.
I mean this statement has materially affected the post "possible offer" Market in SYME.
Whatever happens from here the whole situation has been very badly handled...either that or skilfully manoeuvred to someone's advantage. Not the shareholders.
I'm not particularly positive. Until more evidence of progress. What is reliable about Syme is it's volatility at times and it's ability to surge forward occasionally. It's a punt ,but not yet a solid investment for 10's of thousands of pounds.. Never was!
It's a punt to get the rest of my cash back, following OCT23rd/24th rise post suspension .
It may never come out. At least I got some cash back last year.
Nothing hindsight about it. The evidence was posted back then on advfn and on here before current suspension.
Demolition It's a gamble of course and the time to gamble for very little money was pre suspension.
I don't know your opinion but someone who happily threw in £121K (dunk) and others down 5 and 6 figure sums could easily average down exponentially for a fraction of those ridiculous sums. I mean , ok throwing good after bad not ideal but the risk now I would argue is less than 6/7 years ago and a tiny fraction of he price!
Why would someone jump into one position at start up phase then not throw pocket change at a possible way to get cash back?
It worked post last suspension. IF it comes out again the chance is there....or was there.
RE: Lloyds helping First-Time Buyers12 May 2026 19:57
We have been here before. The £5K Mortgage. Then the 100% Mortgage, Then the non growth economy and destroyed Rental Market hits crisis point and we have another credit crunch.
3 million new homes for working people ....? "smash the gangs" ? "No rise in taxes..." ?
I'll repeat what I have been saying since last summer. The UK needs growth. Lots of it. There has been little for 14 years! RR has totally lost the plot and KS never had a plot. Except in a historical political graveyard...Lying next to Truss...
Lucky bob. They both have the same star sign and both born in the Chinese New year of the Phoenix...
I hope that helps.

Oh I don't know. The Storm Harbour sinking without trace was a bigger coup? or the White labelling scenario? I'd focus on another possible surge post suspension. If it goes under then expect a white label on AZ's toes...
What is damming in my view is the total silence from our CEO. This bid must have been discussed by the BOD (possible bid). JC and presumably HP have convinced them ! A firm offer would be accepted.....subject to shareholder approval.
