Sorry to sound negative all the time , 10.4 gives me a profit, but I've been watching the company's growth and progress for 18years.

Also as Mel says , those big buys (£20K today for eg.) are quickly quenched by equal sales. When 10.4 is on the table why take less? The insti's that Have to sell because of one reason or another should be out by now.

're petrol..agreed. Heating oil, there is no help unless you already claim benefits. LX will go up a lot soon. As for food, some prices have come down locally, more a function of our intensely competitive retail market. Well travelled people will know our food is very cheap compared with most others.

Some interesting debate, i can see the sense of much of it. BUT the idea that JC who has casually dismissed shareholders concerns before , and in my recollection way back at the AGM's was pretty quick out the door after a brief Q and A should suddenly decide to "let the shareholders decide" if my recommended 10.4p is acceptable does not wash .#

He should be able to see what's coming, although projected revenues have been wildly optimistic sometimes: and advise share holders..ALL OF THEM.

All the emerging figures and prospects and expectations and news based optimism posted by LTI, Gizmo etc. Demand a higher figure or a big quick reply of NO!

I suppose the conflict in the Middle East and the ensuing disruption could have made DD more difficult for ES and could have been put forward as mitigation for the extended PUSU timelines ? I know for a fact that the business district was hit/target and folks were asked to work from home. It is likely that ES would have been visiting our office premises, manufacturing facilities, talking to our vendors, banks etc to physically verify arrangements and talking to key senior staff.

Well I don't know if that explains the "yes" but it's plausible given inaccurate projections in the past and JC led us into it. Why? incompetence? or another reason....

My reading of the situation is that this is effectively a "done deal/takeover" for the reasons I have enumerated on many occasions. CYAN are between a "rock and a hard place" with little agency - so a sense of jaded resignation from the Board I feel for the inevitable and all the effort and hard work over the decades has resulted in a busted flush. We have been royally "had" by a very astute ES who played their hand to perfection and set a number of " financial baits and traps" that CYAN walked into.

As to another "Hail Mary" bid coming at this late stage, it seems unlikely IMHO. The possible takeover story has been in the open for so long that should some other Bidder been interested, the dynamics would have shifted and CYAN would not have agreed to repeated PUSU extensions. IHC being so huge will probably have multiple levels of scrutiny and sign offs and dealing with such goliaths means that matters always take their own sweet time. IHC via ES are in no hurry, they know CYAN can't go anywhere.

Other than Axia there is no else with a large war chest to fund CYAN AMISP and the UK financial market appetite to raise money is non-existent without massive dilution. Time is drawing close for the current extension, so maybe we will hear in the next few days ?
