"Nigel Farage has lashed out at Rachel Reeves amid reports that the Chancellor will announce plans to slash the annual cash ISA allowance. Ms Reeves reportedly wants to set the annual limit below the £20,000 ceiling savers can take advantage of to shield their individual savings accounts. Mr Farage posted his reaction on X, telling his followers: "Reeves is killing ambition and driving people out of the country."

The Chancellor is expected to announce the plan to cut the allowance at her Mansion House speech on July 15. Ms Reeves has previously ruled out cutting the overall amount savers can invest in stocks and shares tax-free, but she has not said the same of cash ISAs.

I went through that thought process of "one more year"...give them more time etc..and every AGM the same old crud was churned out. Then I realised that in ten years time the same story would be the reality, on a loop..So I got out. Just cannot understand why others spend so much time researching when it is far from the reality of the various deals being made. Why tolerate it? Why let JC waffle at the AGM?

Those I have met at AGM seem bright enough. So why swallow the story. How many years before you get it?

When cyan started if you had just bought a load of krugerands or sovs and just sat on them you would be a rich investor. Hindsight, ok but Gold coins don't need a salary or have their own interests at heart. Yes they can go down in value but never to the levels of these bloodsucking companies, and they are 100% liquid.

Sold up over a decade ago. Just became clear to me that any progress was never going to benefit shareholders. The penny dropped. There are so many companies out there that have disappointed shareholders for a generation or more. Directors have taken out mortgages and finished paying for them! Their kids have been educated ta shareholders expense.

Experts at AGM's in avoiding questions or giving woolly answers. Why T F do shareholders put up with it? These people are bandits in all but name.

In a few years time CYAN will be where it is now. Promising but no cigar for shareholders. It's like owning a racehorse and paying for feed, training and stabling but never getting any prize money after a win!
