What a stupid thing to say! The polish brave for sure were ill disciplined and largely ineffective in the defence of their own country. The Battle of Britain was largely won by young British Pilots fresh out of a brief flying school period. The experienced RAF pilots and remnants from the RFC days were decimated by sheer weight of numbers. Many Commonwealth countries rallied to the flag. Many women flew logistically within the UK and near Europe.

Our local councillor (south west) can do very little because ALL the other parties have combined to stop Reform getting control despite them having the largest vote. This was not a vote based on Racism. We have hardly any ethnic residents but a vote in frustration against the two /three party system of self serving incompetent fools . The national gov's decision to hit Farmers, Fishermen and Pensioners outraged us down here. Also we lost out in funding YET again despite being one of the poorest areas in the UK dependant on Tourism. We are not "diverse" and god help anyone who tries to change that! They would be toast. My area changed from Conservative to Labour last election but the incumbent already knows his fate next time.
