Nato nations have committed to "attack one attack all" . This is a test but already Nato planes were involved.

Given that Putin 3.5 years on is under pressure from within, and economic pressure from without his inability to subdue Ukraine should have taught him not to take on Nato. A united Nato far outguns Russia's dwindling forces despite help from allies..Last gasp springs to mind. Trump has been divisive not decisive and not helped.
