I remember the original plan .....20 years and £20 ago.

Broadband contract , Halo and big sport package finished and no friendly call from anyone like I usually get post contract.. Instead I got an email offering me dearer alternatives and eventually my bill arrived over £20 dearer!

I told them I'm a pensioner and cannot afford it. After 2 hours of very pleasant conversation (messaging) with an Indian agent and telling them I was leaving after 20 years... I was offered 3 months at half what I'm paying for the total package then 2 years at £1 more than I'm paying now. So £57 big sport plus ultra fast halo etc.. broadband then £91 for 21 months. Works out less than I paid last two years but plus the index rises. Not bad. Sky was dearer and I'm lazy... Happy enough.
