We have a government elected on an" Integrity in office" ticket. Trying to steer the narrative away from Mandy towards Nuclear investment but the truth is Growth is sluggish to say the least. Minister fall out is not! Banks need UK growth. As Manilow had it.

Re Lloy share price . Be happy to admit my error if Lloy hit's £1 but I just cannot see it under a government who screams "growth" from the roof of the H of P but then introduce policies to stifle it. Massive incompetence , poor judgement all due to not knowing what they are doing.

I see Romania is reporting Air space incursions now. Time for Nato to step up or disband. Putin is pushing the boundaries to test their resolve. Chunky sole big investments in the last 10 years has been in property plus a couple of dodgy punts in shares. Glad it was pocket money not needed elsewhere. Not adding to lloy at these prices. bought a few CYAN recently. A share I sold out of ten years back (luckily!) . back in for a few because we might just be seeing the endgame coming up where future growth of sales of their excellent product will be achieved by a merger or takeover. It smells about right...Nothing much else appeals currently. RR has bolted, job done. Builders? I sold kier at a profit years ago having weathered that storm! but at my age long term is not guaranteed ...

News to take Starmer and his judgement off the front page is ZERO growth.

I keep explaining why that is so and why the US will not grow much either. You can feel it and see it and hear it all over the country. The government just don't understand why. Because they don't they have no business running the country but we cannot get rid. By the time they go it will take another 2 years to kick start the economy. You cannot base fiscal policy on "expectations of growth". If you get it wrong ...well there's why Pension dates have gone upwards and why UK pensioners are behind so many other countries . Successive governments have gambled with our NI/ pension payments. They all blame each other.

I have bought a few today. Gawd help me. Will look to increase next month if all looks good.
