Faster then i thought, but at this price ill wait for the short term catalysts.

I follow and trade this dog since the first rns that dropped the sp to 40p pre discovery, bought in again two weeks ago at 60p.
The placing was a red light for me, why raise money just before a rerate is expected?
But i thought maby they needed cash for the ewt and on the way raised some more.
Then came the corallian deal, that didnt make sense at all so i started thinking its the classic move of securing a future for the company when you are before a binary event.
The fact they knew they need to act fast to secure themselves raising money and closing the corallian deal makes me believe this company is dishonest and i dont expect any good news from the ewt.
The fact that the sp didnt rise to 2$ on the "discovery" sais it all, thet was a scam from day one.

so the run up was manipulated, i3e is in the hands of ii's!!
just look at the volume of the trades, it looks like ii's are throwing shares to the market just to buy them back for 11p through placing...

The most anticipated well and the biggest target to test the mastrichian, campenian and santonians intervals will be spud by mid-august.
Mometum at its worst but logicly should be back to 12p on spud..
Drilling decision in kaieteur is due by mid-august as well, might change momentum..

Tony, i follow i3e and aware of its growth but sometimes a rapid increase of sp is followed by profit taking, dont forget 80% of the shares were bought for 5p.
Agree with your 1 year expectations, still it will probably go up and down during the ride so i hope to come back at 16p or less.
My thinking is uog now is like i3e a month ago at 8p, so took my chances.
Sold out half at 12.5p and half at 16p.
I still believe in i3e, will be back.

Short term catalysts still to come yet the rally from 8p to 16p was fast so i preffer to be out for a while and maby come back if/when the price will go down.

My i3e "twin sister" uog-united oil and gas, is at a great entry price, they have the abu senan licence in egypt producing 3000 bbopd net and drilling non stop to push up production (all funded by fcf) with develope and exploration drills back to back, so far all results are above expectations and with a two month period between discovery to production with each well producing 1200 bbopd (300 net) they grow very fast.
Resrves update is expected soon, so are results from an ongoing production drill.

They also have 100% of a blocks that contain the all sea shelf of jamaica where tullow funded the 3d seismic and analysis (around 25m pound investment), then gave up its stake during the corona crisis (strategic decision giving up 50% of their assets) and left the company with 100% drill ready half a billion boe prospect, farm out is expected by year end (but you never know)..

Trading at 27m pound, debt free, fcf of around 8m pound a year, its at a steal price.

No raise for the orinduik well/s, a 6m$ loan to the renewable company should be paid back by year end once the company goes ipo.
The ipo will unlock value, eco holds 70% of the company.

Just talked with the wte bod, thats they said about sapote:

"it is anticipated that the Sapote-1 well will be spudded in circa 6 weeks time (mid-August) using a different drillship - the Stena DrillMAX. Sapote-1 is a giant multi-layer prospect which will evaluate several Upper Cretaceous targets and is the largest prospect to be evaluated by the 2021 Canje drilling campaign."

is a great deal for eco, i think they overpaid but you need to see the big picture, jhi were talking with westmount about a future rto (merge), then africa oil decided to make a move and snap this opportunity from wte and funded the transaction subject to keith hill joining the board.
the goal of this move is the rto.
so next month sapote-1 will spud, then the drilling decision on orinduik, all near term catalysts.
eco is still at last years crisis prices, only way is up..

Will be interesting to see if tullow will have any news in regard to orinduik on the 14/7 operational update..

i am also confused, eco is rising and the deal was finalized at a large premium to other small caps in the basin or compered to the last transaction of jhi-wte that represented a 100m$ mc to jhi while eco got in after the bulletwood failure at 150m$ mc to jhi, the timing suggests eco got an initial results from the mastrichian penetration.
wte on the other hand is dropping from day one of the operation except two blue days due to some ramping, so looking at eco it looks like the drill is doing well and looking at wte it looks like its not.
might be that money is moving from the risky wte to the "hedged" eco..
about tanager and bulletwood in regard to jabillo, jabillo is targeting the mastrichian and campenian intervals,
tanager didnt penetrate the campenian but find an above the expectations discovery at the mastrichian, it was estimated to contain around 20m boe and a 60m boe were discovered, so tanagers result support jabillo.
bulletwood proved a high quality reservoir with hydrocarbon but the stratigraphic trap failed and the oil migrated down, yet jabillo is a floor fan prospect so that result might support it as well.

On success wte will rocket to around 40p...

Eco is a great exposer as well, "hedged" by the drilling decision due by september and by sapote just offers a smaller upside on success.

I love gil and in contact with him via email for some time now, but he is a known "optimistic"...

obviously this transaction has been negotiated before the jabillo spud, terms were agreed and the funding was being solved with AO.
the drill must have reached the point when they had to finalize the deal before any results could be leaked..
my understanding is that jhi are funded for three wells and one appraisal if needed, that means that if jabillo failed they would have to raise funds and not gamble all in on sapote.

The trades all week looks bad, but was that way for a few months now so i cant tell what its all about.
The stena should reach td any day now.
Talked with the bod, results are not expected prior to mid july.

timeline for target selection is clear, it will be in the third quarter..
assuming the sp will get to the 40's once targets are selected, eco has an upside of 60-100% some time in the next 3 months..
hold on to your shares, there will be a point in the near future when the herd will want to get on the train...

Ratio petroleum is in advanced talks of f.o 5% as well, that transaction will be completed after the the drilling decision due by 17.8.21.
Looks like it will be hess as well.
The best thing is ratio is a public company and the valuation of the block will be published.
I pretty sure its about 20-25m$ for 5%, or gross asset value of 400-500m$.
