i think you are over analyzing.
if you remember they were "pleased" to announce the failure of the lib well, so im more confident when they are not pleased...

i think the flow rates will be very good, the porosity that was reported is very high..

patience, it took i3e about 2 quarters to rerate from the last acquisition, it takes time for it to hit the bottom line in the reports and to see it in the operational updates, so it helps to follow the progression and time lines from the first acquisition and look forward for the second acquisition rerate.

Great rns's and updates these last few weeks but the sp is still dropping, that means that we can drop more, maby to 3p.. If so its a top up opportunity.
Jamaica- good update in regard to interesting parties, but farm outs are complicated and takes time, i dont expect any news before end of q4 if at all.
The most important update so far was about the jv discussing the next steps in egypt, thats our bread and butter, if they continue to develop the asset it will be the safest and fastest way to create value, no divis or buy backs needed.
Uog is a medium to long term investment.

Results should be good considering the price of oil and the production growth, but uog is using all its fcf for capex at the moment so the bottom line might not tell the story.

What poor performance, every energy stock i follow is down around 5%, oil is falling 5% and uog is 4-5% up.

Target selection is due by early september and a rerate to the 40's is expected.
Sapote-1 to spud second half of august with results in 8-10 weeks.
Eco is in for some serious catalysts in the short term..

This company is under the radar, it can trade at 3.5-5p for some time then rerate to 10p in two weeks, production base building up and thats the important thing.
Once they hit 5000 bbopd, their net profit should be 20m$ a year, so a conservative mc should be at that point around 100m$ or 80m pound.
Any f.o at jamaica should add around 50m$ assuming it will include a well carry.

btw, todays update proves we have a very professional operator, this drill could easily go bad..

cant wait for the cpr, with such fast and cheap development and flow rates a barrel in the ground should value around 8$ and a pdp barrel around 10-12$, and im being conservative.

this field just keeps giving, one of the best company making fields i have ever seen.
as reported, they needed to stop the drill before reaching TD due to pressure issues, which explains the sp weakness for the last few weeks, but were able to side track and deliver "better then expected results".
another exploration well is added to the campaign is big news considering the cos and the two month period from discovery to production.
the next campaign is already being planned by the JV, so considering the extra well and the potential development work to put it in to production, uog just keep growing non stop, all funded by fcf.
I think this company's fair value at the moment is 60-70m pound not including jamaica.
with this kind of operational success and poo nothing can stop the sp from reaching 10p in the mid term.

if they want to sell it they need to appraise it first, at the moment theres nothing their but a proved hydrocarbon system.

Ggg, i get your point of view, but it is what it is and my advice to you is the same as my conclusion from the last mega dilution, dont be over exposed to i3e and try to trade it when ever the opportunity present it self.

i3e paid 57m$ for assets that increase the operational income by 35$ a year!!
majid: "when we can grow production through acquisition cheaper then through development thats when we go for acquisitions".
25% dilution - 85% production increase.

GGG, the gain acquisition diluted the pi's 90% this dilution is 20% while doubling the fcf.
the gain deal were based more or less on the same tag price but at a time that oil was worth 0, now we are at 75$.
and the big move by i3e was to push the sp in one week from 8p to 16p using manipulations and daily rns's to take the last 14 days sp avg. to 11p and not diluting at 8p, so they made a great deal funding this deal.
obviously a farm out is still a long way else they would wait with the placing..

Its an amazing deal!!!
as good as the gain acquisition..
Can go under the placing price but long term its transformational..
