The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Any thoughts on when we can expect the next RNS?
Reading through the update on 11th March, timelines are largely stated in terms such as ‘shortly’ or ‘as soon as possible’.
We seem largely range bound at the minute, so another RNS to give the SP a prod would be useful. GLA
I might be saying something slightly controversial here, but until QBT actually start mining, the price of BTC is largely irrelevant to the share price. Sentiment maybe, but SP less so.
Hopefully some material news will be forthcoming soon. GLA
Great results considering this was a fresh patch to drill.
I bet Fridays seller is miffed, but then again, they’ve left us having to build back up from rock bottom.
Hopefully the next batch of results from Loflin don’t take months to arrive!
Yeah, I think it’s a distressed PI with a largish holding offloading rather than an II. It does show how illiquid this share is though.
Hopefully it’ll swoop back up with some news and an increase in volume on the buy side…
For those asking about the vote in the EU Parliament, here’s the information taken their website:
“ Cryptocurrency. A draft law to regulate the use of cryptocurrencies will be up for a vote by the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee. The new rules should cover crypto assets outside the EU, how to support innovation and mitigate risks as well as lessen the cryptocurrencies environmental footprint (Monday).”
So, it’s only a proposal from a select committee, rather than something being voted into law, so it shouldn’t have any immediate effect on crypto in the short term.
The bit about supporting innovation is interesting though - which company is pioneering energy efficient algorithms/mining techniques again???
Great update. To summarise, we’re now waiting on lab results for the following;
Carolina Belle - remainder of the results
Loflin - including intersection of 25m
Jones-Keystone - including intersection of 50m
The good news is just going to build and build and with gold riding at around the $2k/oz mark, the market cap here will need to rerate soon.

SGS Labs have been woeful - if they had delivered the test results on time, I suspect the sentiment around here would have been completely different, even under current circumstances.
Ah well, with still got Loflin results due too
Anyone buying at these levels is getting a veritable bargain imho.
It’s been taken down by small PI trades in an illiquid market.
Hopefully the trend will reverse when we actually get the results back from the bloody labs!

If the Loflin extension increases the existing JORC to above or around 100,000 oz and Carolina Belle is proven to be another resource, I think a market cap of £18m (around 7p/share) would be more than reasonable IMHO

PoG only really has a immediate impact if you’re actually producing. Markets also taking a knock across the board today.
Once the geopolitical situation calms down (I suspect Ukraine will capitulate by the end of the week), it’ll be time to reassess.
In the meantime, here’s hoping the loss of life will be minimal.
Take care all
