If you had topped up in Natwest this morning @ 249.7p with 11.5p final dividend to come the yield on that would be 4.6%. Your yield topping up with Lloyds this morning with 1.84p dividend to come is 3.8%.

You would have got more dividend if you had topped up in Natwest. And Natwest go x-divi next week as well.

Seems you think Lloyds are bulletproof. What do you think would happen to the Lloyds SP if they had to be bailed out again by the Government? Won't happen anyway with the large minimum capital buffers the Banks are now required to maintain after the GFC.

Good to see Norge Bank crossing the 3% threshold of shares owned on 4th March taking their holding from 2.93% to 3.02211% of outstanding shares. This means they have increased the number of shares they own by around 60.5 million shares to take them over the threshold......not sure the time frame over which this was done though?
