There are times when I have been in the mind to try trading the ups and dips but if you don't know what you are doing and get your timing wrong can easily go pear shaped, so I agree with your sentiments.

I guess you are right that it will be buried somewhere in the accounts of the next Final Results report for year 2022 next February.

Lloyds Bank has invested £5 million for a 20% stake in invoice financing startup Satago and will roll out the platform for its Single Invoice Finance and whole of book Invoice Factoring customers.

The deal with Satago follows a competitive tender process and a six month trial of the technology. Once deployed it will introduce a new digitised proposition for lending to the bank's SME customers.

Satago expects to be paid a recurring fee for each customer of the bank which utilises the platform, as well as one-off implementation fees, with the final terms of the agreement subject to commercial negotiation.

Thanks for responding. My eyes nearly popped out when I read 5% and 2%, then got to the end and saw 0.1%. That seems more plausible, as you say it is a straight forward exercise likely delegated to an office junior.

Is there anywhere that will detail what fees MS will receive for conducting the share buyback programme on behalf of Lloyds? I've googled it to death but not getting anywhere.

Lets not forget, still down -15% from closing price of 52.3p on the eve of final results 23rd February. We wont get back to 52p until Ukraine crisis over. Markets going to be extremely volatile until then with very large intraday swings daily along the way. This could still potentially go sub 40p before the Ukraine crisis is over.

They should be expelled from the UN Security Council as well. And they were the "chair" for the month of February when they started the invasion of Ukraine! How can they be trusted to be one of the members of UN Security council, let alone one of the Permanent Members, when they repeatedly lied to the world when amassing troops on the Ukraine borders saying it was just military exercises and they had no intention of invading Ukraine!

For god's sake, don't get excited.....keep your feet on the ground! As has been seen, markets are extremely volatile with large daily swings. Look at the DOW yesterday as an example.....up 500pts at one stage and closed down -200pts. Same with FTSE yesterday, opened well into the red and closed more or less flat. This is going to be the "norm" for trading until Ukraine crisis finished, which hopefully for all will be sooner rather than later.

He will be thrown under a bus by the Tories before the next election!

As far as I am aware, of the 30 counties that are members of NATO, only the US, France and UK have nuclear weapons. None of the former ex Soviet Bloc countries that are now members of NATO have nuclear missiles stationed on their soil; Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Hungary, Poland etc. I do not think there would be any intentions to station nuclear weapons on Ukraine soil after joining so as not to upset the Russians.

Russia demanded that Ukraine surrender the nuclear missiles it did have after the collapse and break up of the Soviet Union in return for recognising them as an independent sovereign nation and promising not to invade them in future.

It has taken 7 trading days to complete 9.14% of the £2 billion buyback. At this rate, the buyback will take a total of 76 trading days to complete. So take away 7 leaves another 69 trading days or 14 weeks to complete. This would be around 10th June for completion, assuming the human race has not been wiped out by nuclear war before then of course! I guess if SP falls even further more will be bought daily so will accelerate this so potentially could be completed even earlier than 10th June? If SP is still dirt cheap it would be beneficial to share holders to announce another buyback programme at half year results due 27th July to gobble up some more shares at discount prices..........IMO.
