fudge just happened....?
Glad to see that there is some activity on this board!
Full disclosure from me - I intend to sell half my holding when (if) the price hits 2600+, for me that will mark over 50% growth from FEVR and this is my largest holding, I would like to take some profits and diversify a little more. Keeping my other half in there for the long run though!
Yes dilution is taking effect, but that is not the major cause of the drop here, IMHO. The value of the placing is significant as it is a good 50p below the rough average SP over the past month or two. An acquisition also presents increased risk for the acquiring firm off the back of a ‘not as good as expected’ update, so naturally these things are dampening the price in combo with dilution.

Here's hoping, but don't bet your house on it...
I'm beginning to think that any update tomorrow won't deliver further rises given the boost we have seen in the past week. Naturally I hope I am wrong, but "Buy the rumour, sell the news" comes to mind??
Personally I don't believe that a single article in the Telegraph can cause a 10% boost in this company's value in isolation
Also, Jeffries International has started forcasting for Fever Tree and it released it's first buy recommendation today with a target price of 3000p! Jefferies International 19/01 Initiates/starts Buy 3,000.00p
Looks like someone might have got wind of a positive update...surely that's the only explanation for a 9% jump days before a trading update?
Strong appointments in my opinion, especially Kevin Havelock bringing across that experience from Unilever. Interesting that he also co-chairs the Pesi/Lipton Tea joint venture, this creates a small social link between FEVR and PEPSICO, imo
Could you advise me where it shows that date on the Fevr website please? Not doubting you, I just can't locate it and it would be useful to have that page on record. Thanks!
I think that would be a grand mistake, overdiversification is a real danger and I think even the current (positive) expansion of product line (with new flavours and formats) needs to be managed very carefully to ensure the company does not overstretch itself.
You are not wrong my friend, if it is solely due to supply chain issues then clearly that is a major no-no. Bumper sales is positive in itself, but still not great if they're not restocking to keep selling. I'm going to take a positive view on this one, will be off to Sainsbury's soon to get some in for Xmas. Merry Christmas to all of you and your loved ones, some decent regulars on this board and I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that all contributions are highly valued. Off to Switzerland tonight for Xmas, see you all in the New Year! All the best, Chris
6% rise!? No news??
Apologies, I thought you were being serious! Let's hope Neil's run of bad luck ends here! :o)
Interesting, thanks for that info Ides. My IC subscription expired and I didn't renew, so I missed that info. I suspect the screen returns it as a no due to the mega growth already experienced perhaps.
Down 20p in two days?
How is that related to them taking a holding?
Now that you've said that I'm going to make me a Martin Miller's and Fever Tree! Have a good Christmas all...Fever Tree gift boxes all round I hope! Haha
