According to the Cenkos site ii, AJB & Redmayne Bentley are now participating. I'm with ii and there's nothing on their site yet.

The RNS says to contact your broker to participate - the intermediary has a list of brokers and all are shown as "awaiting confirmation" when it comes to participation. There are only 2 trading days in which to participate - how is that going to happen in no brokers are on board?

One of the main problems India has in becoming a giant in international trade is the lack of deep sea ports. The focus of port operations should be a priority for the Gov't.

The format of SRT's business means very large chunks of income come from projects at specific times - it's not spread evenly across the year, so be careful not to get hung up on annual figures as they can be distorted significantly be the timing of invoices.

Looks interesting, and certainly a way of getting the share price back up a bit. As an existing holder (so not affected if the record date for the offer is already gone) with a guaranteed sell price of 225, and still able to buy under 215, I've just bought a few more. It may only lead to a 5% gain, but I'd be happy if a bank would give me 5% guaranteed for 3 months.

Just to confirm what Genghis said - I notice the rent caps whenever a new deal is done. I'm not sure if they are summarised anywhere. I tried to keep a record. Just checked it - there is quite a variety. Most seem to be RPI, some CPI, a couple fixed (which could be a worry) and one "OMV" whatever that is. Some are annual reviews, some 5 year, 1 x 7 year. The lowest cap (apart from fixed) seems to be 2.5%. There is a variety - 4% may be more common than 5. And it seems some of the early ones were not capped.

A summary would help. Maybe someone should suggest it to the board (who thankfully seem to be too busy buying shares.)

It just seems the share price is geared to general commercial property price and inflation. which is a bit ridiculous. It would be a worry if inflation stays way above 5% for long; as most of the rentals have an upper ceiling to rent rises, but I think that unlikely. Otherwise income is linked to inflation, so not a problem and short term property prices are irrelevant with such long term leases.

The challenge for SRT's management team now will be moving from the predominantly sales based focus to one balancing sales and project delivery. I'm sure they are up to it, but it will be interesting to see how they cope.

I wouldn't worry about the immediate reaction - markets are full of jitters and looking for any negative to mark anything down. This business is going in the right direction.

This is a business in a major transition. Recent historic figures may be poor as you all claim, but read the words. I've rarely read such a strong positive outlook. The chairman said "I see a very bright future for JM." They are very confident about where they are going over the next 3-5 years.

Small fry but every little helps to bring down that debt.

Doing some very rough calcs (85% of contract paid over 2 years, typical project margin, no of shares etc. to get an EPS figure) I reckon yesterday's raise was way under done and the share price should be nearer £1.

Truro, "Can't help feeling that this is the year we 've been waiting for - enough profits to declare a divi and get the II's on board. The SP will be transformational." - Completely agree. For years they've been struggling to make annual turnover of £10-20m. The current contract with the growing transceiver business was going to ease things comfortably above that; but this puts things in another league - and there is still a pipeline over £1b.

I'm not so optimistic about a dividend just yet, but that doesn't matter.

It will be interesting to see how management cope with the change from concentrating on chasing sales, to still chasing sales, but managing workload.

Still going. Finals due 13th June, so that's not imminent besides which the pre close trading statement 3 weeks ago had little eff3ect on the share price. Volumes not especially big. I'm pleased, but I'm confused.

Can snyone explain the big rise in the last couple of days?
