There is not going to be a change of strategy of course. Even if this new strain becomes dominant and has evolved to escape immunity the general population will still be better protected for having been vaccinated and it will be a case of getting through the summer before attempting a vaccination programme all over again next winter.

The fact that you are worrying so much about the cost of treatment shows that you are missing the bigger picture. Whether it sells for £5000, £2000 or £500 you'll be making a lot of money as long as p3 is successful.
