What a difference a new president makes. A few months ago we all wondered aloud if the US would snub us purely for the fact that we're British and not American.

Personally if it's £300m i'll be (silently)disappointed but fully aware of how good the headlines will be - £65m H1, £235m H2, H1 2021?!?!

Marker, there's probably a handful of shorters that need to buy back at under the 0.5% threshold so besides a pure guess there's no way of knowing.

I'd much prefer it to be an II loading up.

Maybe this columnist was right to urge caution but nearly six months on we're in a different place with the p3 starting and with fda backing. Most notably there really aren't any blockbuster treatments still and the science supporting sng and interferons has been bolstered.

Some of the twitter lot have the attention span of a little child. It's 'I don't care what you offer me you ain't getting even one of my novacyt shares, these are gold dust' and then 5 mins later 'EUA breakout, sold novacyt all in EUA'

The before and after screenshot one day apart is hilarious if genuine.

There are some seriously terrible investors out there that seem to literally just guess what's going to happen to the share price based on nothing more than 'well it's gone up a lot so prob go down now'

From what I remember he was very much adamant that vaccines did not spell the end for synairgen and he was right. Anything in the past week that's dented your confidence?

I know he's not Ashcroft but one factor drawing me to synairgen last year was Stephen Holgate and his links to the government/scientific advisors but it seems he's too damn respectable a human being to play that to his advantage.

I completely agree with you Big and it's why I'm as overweight as I am right now. If we receive EUA out of the blue or a T/O offer I'm friggin' loaded but if not I still expect this to rally to £2.25 at some point which I've now set as my top slicing target. If none of that happens and I have to take all these shares through to the P3 readout, well, this is money I didn't have this time last year and if I lose it all I'll have to pick myself up and get on with it!

My point re risk was that I've never seen very risky companies tipped on motley fool, ever. I've never seen a strong buy recommendation for a stock that could drop 80% on bad news so I take that as the contributor viewing the p3 readout as slightly safer and more unlikely than you are suggesting.
