Org, you really need not panic. Many, many bbs are filled with rampers that are far from clued up but this bb is not one of them. Sng001 is potentially the real deal, it's not just another run of the mill drug. It's great that there are promising monoclonal antibody therapeutics but broad spectrum antivirals are going to be the gamechange,r not drugs like bamlanivimab.

Try not to be so jumpy and read what is out there! It's on the Activ 2 trial so obviously there is promise in early prevention/treatment but is not competing directly with sng001 as it's not safe for hospitalised patients.

Don't monoclonal antibodies target specific strains and therefore not very adaptable to new variants which is the number one reason sng001 will be so sought after...

It's no SNG001 that's for sure. From the same press release:

'Benefit of treatment with bamlanivimab has not been observed in patients hospitalized due to COVID-19. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bamlanivimab, may be associated with worse clinical outcomes when administered to hospitalized patients requiring high flow oxygen or mechanical ventilation with COVID-19.'

If anything their doubling from Q2 to Q4 isn't that impressive but as you say our first mover advantage will be the difference. It's not too farfetched to turn to the likes of Roche and ThermoFisher when doing comparisons, I think our covid revenue might not be that far off theirs???

As much as it's not worth the 50 odd likes it got on twitter it's also not a problem, biosynex has nothing like the major domestic contracts that we have and so I suspect 2021 forecasts aren't mindblowing. I don't think there is any company to compare novacyt to accurately.

The 154 mil was for the full year so we can't read anything across. The 775% growth figure is q4 2020 compared with q4 2019 which isn't actually that impressive. Ours is without doubt going to dwarf that - for comparison novacyt's q4 2019 was something like €3m! Q4 2020 will be something like €150m so as much as 5000% increase!

Biosynex upgraded their forecast for the year's revenue a month ago to between €150m and €175m and it came in at the lower end, €154m. I don't know what their profits are like but at an mcap of €216m they are trading at just 1.4 revenue.

Be interested to see what the share price does tomorrow.

Yes it bloody is. If this reaches £25 we're scrapping the trip to London and flying out to Germany instead.

It's logical to assume that the relationships being built now can be leveraged beyond covid test sales in the future. I know we are getting carried away and arguing over what we are worth right now but I tend to keep it simple with slightly lower expectations than some of the others.
My hope is £2.5b mcap, £34 share price in two years from now. That's £100m profit at a respectable p/e of 25 post covid.
