I'm in here for the wider benefits of SNG001, pandemic preparedness and stockpiling, but I'm unconvinced we'll be treating millions of patients a year for covid.

I agree with Doc, we should be able to question claims made on here rather than just saying in Richard we trust.

I have a question for you guys. Firstly my priority when investing here is 'does it work?' Obviously I don't know the answer to that just yet but as long as p3 is successful I know I make decent money from here. What I am interested in is your thoughts on this scenario... suppose activ 2 shows promising results as a home treatment but also the vaccine rollout is successful enough to see hospitalisations continue to fall at the rapid rate they are currently falling, eventually settling at around 1.5k a day. This must be possible seeing as new hospital admissions were about 4k a day throughout last autumn, prior to vaccinations and with very few restrictions. In this scenario how many treatments do you envisage the US wanting? Would they snap up enough every month for every potential hospitalised patient?

Those trades at 30k a pop are more interesting than the rest of the week and tally up to close to 2m. It appears that the buyer is very comfortable buying in the 179-183 range but steers clear after any rns spikes.

It would be helpful to be given an update though instead of having to analyse and interpret Richard's stammer!

Wasn't arguing over the production possibilities, more the actual treating of a million patients a month. That seems a stretch to me but RM is evidently pushing the stockpiling narrative.

Just a tad rampy? I suppose it's possible if large quantities are taken for stockpiling, but I just can't see us treating 12 million sick patients a year personally. Hope I am wrong and pmjh is right though, obvs!

Porky is a little too obsessed with p/e ratios but they aren't really relevant for novacyt at this present moment in time. I think in two years time they'll settle into a p/e in line with the industry and the sp will depend on whether this is looking like a growth stock or not. If GM has bought well, covid revenue is still coming in and they are therefore still raking in £100m+ profit then this will be worth a good few billion at least, but not just yet.

I thought there was consensus here that GM doesn't give a s*** about the sp ST??? If so I highly doubt he's bothered about what exchange we're on, if anything he probably prefers AIM to a more regulated index...

Nothing gets leaked by the company, it's just easy to predict when each bit of news is going to land. There's buying pressure closer to when it might land probably in the hope that some extra bit of news like a pre conditional order comes attached.

This will happen again in a week or two, not because of a leak but because we know there should be some news re Activ 28 days after first patient was dosed. As we get closer to the big news I expect bigger FOMO spikes to occur.

We're at the stage where even those completely deflated realise there's not benefit to sell now so it's hard to push the share price much lower. Should stabilise before the next bit of news lands.

It's important to remember this now. The city has lost all faith in novacyt, its future potential etc. If you load up now you'll most likely make a lot of money medium/long term but I think it's going to take a while for this company to be taken seriously and demand a p/e ratio in line with its counterparts, maybe years. I think I'm happy to take my chances and sit on this til it all eventually plays out, but it won't be instant gratification...
