I believe it's just AZN and GSK, which are considerably larger than £10b.

I can see where Doc is coming from, after all £50 a share would make synairgen the third largest pharmaceutical company listed in the UK - bit of a stretch?!

Taken from another b - if true then there really may be further serious waves here in the UK. I had assumed until now that the Brazilian P1 variant was less transmissible than the original virus.

Fireblade what utter bs. Shaun's 2020 forecasts were well off but he was far from rampy, in fact quite the opposite. He was met with anger a few times on here for admitting that the share price had gone slightly past what he saw as true value (twice when it touched £12).

Junior, some are selling as they've lost faith in the company, some are selling because they have might now feel we won't get another contract and the share price could collapse in on itself, some might see better opportunities elsewhere, others might need the money. Plenty of reasons...

The rest of us see enormous value here.

Before the pandemic genmark was valued at ~$300m so it could be viewed as a slightly larger company than ncyt in that sense, but... it does bode well for us longer term for sure!

At this point I can't see it having anything to do with placing shares - after all we've been well above 175p numerous times now and around this level for over a month.

I reckon a lot of investors and new investors are deep in the red thanks to Porky's domination of this bb following the trading update with two days of ramps along the lines of 'Another £20k at £9.50, another £10k at £9.10, thank you for these cheap shares!' whilst driving out the likes of ShaunP at the same time. The latter was exactly what this bb needed to help those panicking take a deep breath and allow things to settle for a few days before perhaps buying back in much cheaper.

I like Porky, he definitely means well, but it's become quite obvious that he's in well over his head and the desperateness does show. I hope for his sake more than any other that the sp starts to move back to £10 again soon.

Not invested here but followed for a little while - got to be serious value at 8.7p a share, right?!

No doubt about it the little rise yesterday looks more sustainable this time - no sell off this time and a steady rise over £8 prior to news.

The greedy bastard found a 90 bagger elsewhere (BRH) and so lost interest in this 50 bagger.

That sounds very promising, here's hoping gggg is on the money! Does anyone know if ncyt are likely to be testing for other infectious diseases using the Qs in the future?

Absolute total bs, you have ****ged off the company since you joined this site and warned others not to lock money up in here when there's so many opportunities elsewhere - why then would you have bought into the rights issue?

I've still got a 1% punt on this share (down fro 85%), but I think its a outside chance. It may get approval but little interest from the medical profession.

I don't know, there's a big difference of opinion on here. I think 100k is the more realistic target but if it is closer to 1 million then the £50 target will be back in focus for sure!
