In April last year it was acceptable to say 'demand for testing should continue for the rest of the year', in August it was acceptable to say 'demand for testing is likely to continue into the early part of 2021', but the full year trading update at the end of Jan 2021 deserved some sort of forecast, even if the uncertainty was emphasised.

Long term I see the R/R as extraordinary at this price so I've just doubled down. Can't predict the ST movements but the microbiome is an exciting area of science to be in and any success will see multiples from here - not to mention a pick up from being on the NASDAQ. It's a buy for me!

If South Dakota has indeed not suffered much from covid, well I think I could hazard a guess as to why. Have you heard of a thing called population density? Infectious diseases need people to spread it to amazingly... SD has a population density of 11.3 people per square mile. That compares with say Florida, 400 people per square mile...

Many on here are hoping for a p3 update from the company soon but it might be in our best interest to keep quiet on that front and focus on the At Home trial and Activ 2. I know this stuff takes time but in a pandemic I really thought things would move faster than this.

Didn't that Gnobby guy from ADVFN say that according to RM the reduction of 300 patients from the p3 trial was the equivalent to about one month? By that reckoning the 600 patient trial should be very close to completion!

Sure, let's leave it here. What has changed is the instant reaction that strong p3 results will have. Released to fanfare in the middle of the winter wave before vaccines were being rolled out and the chance of the share price rallying to dizzying heights was high. Now the share price should reflect reality much more than a crazy fomo price.

I am of the opinion that £25+ is achievable, but I believe the results really have to be stellar, not just positive, enough that it brings all the potential uses into sharp focus. That could well be the case still.

I understand that, it's just a shame that people believe it was rushed when there is zero evidence for that. I mean it was rushed in the sense that the pandemic was grinding the world to a standstill and the sooner we could get back to normality the better...It was fast tracked yes, but to me that's simply evidence of what progress can be made when enough money and resources are thrown at something like this.

Anyway I'm not one of those people who think it's shameful or selfish to reject the vaccine if you aren't comfortable taking it. As long as you don't discourage others too.

Matt, that's a good point, I get that. Still, GW was taken out for $7b so half of £10b. Not playing down the potential of SNG at all but I'm with Doc that the chance of a sp in the realms of £50 has gone.

I'll happily exit without any regrets at £10-£15, if the rest of you get five times that then brilliant!

I believe it's just AZN and GSK, which are considerably larger than £10b.

I can see where Doc is coming from, after all £50 a share would make synairgen the third largest pharmaceutical company listed in the UK - bit of a stretch?!
