Well in the simplest of terms CaneToad, this business ended 2019 with £1m cash and £7m debt (something like that).

It will end 2021 with zero debt and about £100m cash. Whatever it was before it won't be after, ANY high margin company that sees that sort of financial uplift is materially changed for the foreseeable.

Where it will be in 2025 of course is still unknown. On either extreme it might f*** the whole thing up and end up close to where it started or it might be a leading diagnostics player that eventually gets bought out in the billions. We don't know where it ends up on that spectrum but we do know it's not going to shrink back next year to the minnow it was pre covid.

Let's not forget that when the share price reached £12 it was October 2020 - at that stage the company merely expected demand for covid testing to 'continue until at least H1 2021'. So it rose that high without any expectation of covid revenue continuing long term...

We are nearing the end of H2 2021 and PCR testing is as high as it's ever been. And the share price is 20% of that peak. Good value I'd say but yes the market is demanding to see the path to sustainable long term growth now..

Globetrotter, there's been a transition at the top of the company at an integral point in its future - I agree that we should be privy to their vision and more emphasis should have been placed on the strategic plan by now but perhaps that's why Graham has been replaced? That would certainly be my guess.

No question that it's holding us back but the company has shown more than enough over the past eighteen months to believe that with £100m of cash they will develop into a business worth a hell of a lot more than today's £180m... and in the end of the day that's what matters to investors as of today deciding whether to buy, hold or sell.

We're still five weeks from the start of the winter flu season, plenty of time for news and sentiment to really kick in here.

There was a big raise at £1.10 and the share price was walked right down to that price. It is now about 17% above the placing price and itching to breakaway but doesn't quite have the buying pressure yet.

If BTC tries for $70k I see this having a good go at 1.50 at the very least. To then head higher will very much depend on communication from the company and confidence that the promises/targets are all going to be met...

PW is one of the best CEOs out there for putting out timely rns' that build share price momentum - I'm hoping the next bitcoin leg up coincides with the quiet period coming to an end + October operational update. That's the sort of thing that'll kick this on to a higher trading range.

Pdub IS the BMN bulletin board guardian because he's one of the few great posters left on here - he does a sterling job of attempting to singlehandedly keep this bb afloat from nefarious agitators and I think I speak for the majority on here when I say we're very grateful of all his efforts!

I think the vast majority ignore them, especially with £15 targets!

Sammy, re your question asking if the BOD can do anything about the manipulation… yes they can, but not directly and not imminently. This sort of share recycling goes on when there is very little volume, shorters are able to have disproportionate power in these cases and control the share price - what we need is positive news built upon positive news so we start to see enough buying pressure to force them to close.

The last update was solid but not quite enough to stop the rot it seems. Some BE news would be very welcome soon and would likely blow the shorts away…

Let’s assume your survival rate figure is accurate… the problem with covid is less about deadliness and more about infectivity. Without measures it’s capable of ripping through the entire nation in short shrift (and then repeating the cycle again and again). Going with your 0.4% mortality rate and let’s say five times that for hospitalisation - that means potentially 250000 deaths a year and 1.25m patients admitted to hospital.

Not so benign in reality.

I'm sure there's more naked shorts but a 0.6% short is not exactly short squeeze territory.

Short squeezes usually occur when there's over 10% short interest.

*11th consecutive rise in vanadium prices* is arguably a bit misleading but what we are seeing is the pullback in V prices coming to an end and beginning to move back up again - nothing major yet but it's extremely positive.

I.e the same is about to happen here. The covid outlook changed first, then SNG got good news (activ2 phase 2 progressing to activ 3 + II buying) and then the share price exploded.

The problem most have is they cut their winners (to lock in profit) and hold on to their losers (as they don't like to take a loss) - sentiment is changing again on covid, the narrative that it's over is being torn to shreds.

Bought more SNG last week myself and in no rush to sell.

What you wish for is an entirely different market to one that currently exists, sadly!

This happens all the time on AIM. Share prices get pushed down as far as they possibly can when sentiment is low. Eventually when traders believe the bottom has been hit they start buying and a domino effect occurs, others rushing in recognising they won't get lower and probably won't get another chance (in this case) below 255p, 260p etc. Some will buy in speculatively in case there is a leak which drives the pump further

This is the sort of pump that I'm comfortable with as even with the RNS fails to follow the share price is still sitting at such a low. We aren't actually waiting on game changing news, this is undervalued based on everything we already know!

If by 'someone over there knows something' you mean they've had wind that DHSC talks are productive and promising then yes I agree with you, but that's not much more knowledge than we have. The company has reiterated their confidence re the dispute so we should expect to see a positive outcome and hopefully soon.

I'm also expecting news soon I just don't buy the actual leak theory, it's not necessary to explain Friday's sudden price action.
