The staff count has multiplied since last year and most of the board are new and experienced and on I expect big salaries and yet EBITDA margin is expected to be over 40% in 2021 - this is a high margin business, high cash burn is not a big risk factor.

The thing is you can be absolutely sure that Kallu would have been saying this about Boohoo in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. You are basing your prediction of growth slowing/stalling on very little and many have been betting against them all that time - up until now they have proved all doubters wrong.

How does one know this is madly undervalued? On every other bb the derampers talk of share price implosion, placings at huge discounts, potential insolvency to scare PIs… here they try to convince you that the company will be sold for a fiver a share - a near 100% increase from today’s price!

Hexam it's difficult to argue with that post re closed period. I think it goes a bit beyond that though, it's the mere anticipation of news landing that often facilitates buying pressure and bolsters the share price. We're in the opposite situation at the mo, we expect to wake up to no RNS which leads to traders dumping at the end of the trading day and picking back up first thing the next day.

The bigger problem is that they're seen as a 'covid stock' and therefore have nothing left if covid revenue dries up. This needs to change as soon as possible and we've got to assume that the new CEO knows this and will stick it at the top of the priority list.

Once institutions see the growth trajectory they will buy in but not before.

None of us are going to get carried away now with any 5% spike, it doesn't mean news is coming, it probably is simply traders once again seeing if they can get in at 250p and out at 290p.

All the same there is a lot going for this company and the silence shouldn't be taken as a bad omen. InvestorSteve's post a little further down @9.41 lays out why and is worth reading if this drops again and it feels like all is lost.

The new CEO is here to keep growing the business and turn things around share price-wise and I'm fully confident that he'll achieve it.

We may have lost Porky and his long, detailed, motivating posts but what we got in return is a Steve and a DRB - all good with me!

This should mean we will be turning a profit and hence not requiring cash through financing or placings.

I enjoyed the video and think it's great the way they give shareholders a clear look into what is going on behind the scenes. Personally think Peter is one of the best CEOs out there and the polar opposite to most of the old boomers in charge of companies on the LSE.

I mean technically I'm on a loss but I'm not here to breakeven and get out again, I think ncyt have a fighting chance of developing into a leading diagnostics company and with it life changing returns.

@byp if some of that is directed at me well my average is a good bit below £3, I'm not deep underwater or desperate or any of those things - granted I've moved a serious amount of money in again at £2.50 to get the average this low...

I thought I was out for good earlier in the year and was happy with the profits I'd made, albeit much reduced on what they were at one point, but I simply believe the risk vs reward is asymmetrical now. I believe we are only so low because the previous administration (namely Graham) made some big mistakes / didn't care much for shareholder engagement and now we are being punished once again for not seeing an immediate change in communications from the new man in charge.

There are lots of unknowns and risks ahead but I still feel way more comfortable having all this money in a small cap with no financial constraints (EKF have £20m cash available for example), no risk of a placing and are perfectly placed to take advantage of the increased spending going into diagnostics post pandemic.

So no not all of us are in because we won't sell at a loss, many of us think this company at this price is as good value as it gets.

The closed period makes a massive difference for a small cap stock like Argo - anticipation of what news might land and when plays a huge role in share price action.

I'd be very happy now to see BTC trade sideways in the hope that the next big push north coincides with increased Argo news flow.

@byp well you don't care about charting and candlesticks and what have you so the actual close isn't that relevant, the shares traded lower than today's low on numerous occasions in October and every time they bounced back to 250p before the breakout. Whilst you are using certainties (*when it falls to low 200s) I'm happy to say it *might fall to low 200s, it *might once again bounce around here and then surge as anticipation of news builds or we *might wake up to a positive rns tomorrow and never see 250p ever again. I don't pretend to know anything for certain.
