I have been adding quite heavily over the past couple days. Now really is the best time to buy while it is relatively quiet and before any expectation or hype is driven into the share price pre drill which should happen in August or September. This share does move fast on small volume so when the market wakes up to JOG it should be very exciting.
Watching2 - share are being sold from the placing. It is as simple as that. With 25 million pounds at 16p I fully expect the shares to hit that or lower.
coconocchio - I agree, placing shares are being forward sold now. It happens all over AIM. 17p is about to be broken and I still stand by we will hit placing price of 16p. Placing price is reached is 95% of placings in my experience.
I believe it will hit placing price. Out of the 25 million pounds raised you must expect about half of that to hit the market for 10% or less. We will see a steady climb back top to highs after that.
Steve Staley, Upland Resources Limited CEO, said:
"The Convertible Loan Notes Facility provides Upland with added funding flexibility at low cost and minimal dilution to existing shareholders. This flexibility allows Upland to pick the right time to draw funds and in amounts that can be matched to needs. The Board believes that this Facility compares very favourably with other arrangements currently available in the market that seek to provide the same flexibility. It also serves to underline the commitment of our cornerstone shareholders to the Company."

You keep reiterating the same points about 'switching off' and 'bottom drawer for 5 months'. You sound very bitter.
Listen to your own advice and come back on here again in August.
Meanwhile, I will continue to be patient and add at these levels around the placing price.
Now investors can settle down. The contract has been signed. The rig will be delivered and Stat Oil is making great moves for this to be a success. It was in their top 5 discoveries last year. I am expecting a re-rate back to 250-300pence now in the coming days and weeks.
Excellent interview thanks for posting.
He says 'the industry is a lot more excited about Verbier than the market'.
It just goes to show we have some catching up to do.
