I'm no conspiracy theorist, but this does seem a bit of a concerted dirty trick attempt at manipulating people into selling.

I'm sticking it out, as I still feel that, on balance, this sp has some way to go. Hopefully SD's chat with Diggers&Dealers next week will help rebuild confidence in both him and the project.

All that said, you should never say never when it comes to investing, and we should all keep our wits about us, so I'll be keeping an even closer eye than normal on proceedings.

As I've listened and read what SD has to say for over 4 years now, I get the strong impression that he's no bs merchant. In fact if anything, he seems to err too much on the cautious side.

That said, I prefer under promise and over deliver (eventually) to the opposite.

Not a good day though, and I am disappointed with the price reaction to these results, but on we go with fingers crossed.

Indeed, but a continuously strengthening £ (unless I've got it completely arsenal about face) is not good news for those of us holding the shares on the AIM, if the sp is going to be driven mainly by the Aussies (and therefore the $Aus) in the future.

One thing I would point out Rotherby is that it is possible to buy ASX listed shares in an ISA, provided you buy them in sterling and not in dollars.

Now that we are cross listed, an additional factor has (I think) to be added to our calculations as shareholders, and that is the effect of the potential for the $Aus/£ exchange rate to seesaw. As I understand it, this impact will increase as more shares are picked up by the Aussie institutions and PIs so the effect of trades on the share price become more weighted to the ASX. i.e. the share price is affected more and more by deals on the ASX as opposed to AIM.

So if the $Aus continues to strengthen over time, surely this will negatively affect our returns in sterling.

A crude and extreme example - if the exchange rate was $Aus10 to £1, a price of $7.08 (today's close on ASX) = £0.71p If the exchange rate was $Aus5 to £1, thIten a price of $7.08 = £1.41.

A more specific example is to look at the same sp of $Aus7.08, but comparing the exchange rate movement over the past year.

Today, the Aus is worth 2.08 to the £1.

A year ago, it was 1.90 to the £1. Therefore a year ago, that $7.08 sp would be worth £3.72 (if my sums are correct).

In a nutshell, if the £ continues to weaken against the $Aus, it seems it's not good news for us. On the other hand....

Removing that exchange rate uncertainty is, for me, a valid reason for considering (but only at this stage considering) the transferring of my shares from AIM to ASX. To do so for me would involve changing broker platform, something which I'm reluctant to do for now, as it will be a bit of a malarkey.

Anyone got any views on this? (Or indeed correct my thinking if I'm completely off kilter?)

I see from latest notices to the ASX entitled "Initial notice of director's interest" that Shaun has 250,000 Managing Director Options expiring 04 May 2026 with an exercise price of A$10.36.

Even more grounds for optimism?

How’s the current financial market state right now on your end ?

Obviously a little more volatile than ‘normal’ based on what’s going on in the world, and it’s a difficult/interesting market to navigate.

But my decision to put a fair bit of money into GGP around 5 years ago, and to add to it through the ups and downs, is certainly bearing fruit! Without wanting to sound sycophantic, a big part of my decision to do so has been based on how impressed I am with your performance, your skill in buying the farm, but mainly for me it’s about your own openness and honesty. I think that’s too rare a commodity (even more so than gold!) these days.
