@padrock thanks
No, I was aware that all had gone for OO, shame, but for future dealings on PrimaryBid I just wondered did other posters on here who were lucky enough to get shares, have that same message re a settlement fee of £20 ?
Have just signed up to PrimaryBid after reading very informative posts on here.
Just one question if somebody could explain please
In the broker section where I have completed the details it’s says:
“Settlement fee
£20
PrimaryBid is ready to settle from date of issue”
Is this the fee they charge when you use them to buy any of the offers, they haven’t actually asked for any card/bank details atm as obviously I’m not purchasing anything
Am I missing something that’s looking straight at me ?,
Cheers
Well if there’s one thing I’ve learned over these past 12 months, it’s not to trade on the bell, been caught out so many times through panic and lost, have a small portfolio, it up and down, but deceived I’m no rainbow chaser and if a company has a good product, a forward going plan and a decent CEO then I’m happy to ride the storms
If one thing this lockdown has bought me is is patience. :)
Thanks fellow investors, appreciate a straight easy answer, GLA :)
At the risk of getting a slating :)
I’m pretty new to investing, have quite a few shares in OO and have read and reread this mornings RNS, at first, reading posters comments i was “shall I, shan’t I” sell, I haven’t ..
So the question/options that I’m asking is:
1)Do I just leave my holdings as they are here and that’s that
2) Or do I also need, if there’s availability,, to buy shares in the second tranche of PrimaryBid
So if you guys have managed to get shares in PB this morning do they all get amalgamated and it just increases your OpenOrphan holdings from next week
Apologies for being a bit ‘doh’ and go easy on me
Cheers

Fair points Smokie, no way trying to score points, certainly not on first name terms as never knew of Mr Argenio before last night, his Linkd in page was giving out info regarding Primer/NCYTand requesting that if there were any queries etc then to contact him.
You can see from the relative low number of posts that I have that along with some other investors I don’t proclaim to be so experienced that I know where to always look or do my homework, I do spend many hours certainly trying tho, and believed that a forum like this is where folk like yourself may be able to answer an innocuous and genuine question....perhaps if someone had taken the time to have replied to the original post of Sealion, then these conversations between us wouldn’t have taken up readers time on the board.
I know understand why less informed investors don’t like to query or ask for fear of being taken to task but as I said before, I wish you well and get it....
Back to revision then :)
@smokieUK
That message was sent to Antonio late evening last night, am aware of ‘these people’ having a day job and was in response to a genuine question from a few posters wondering why, if capacity was up to its max etc etc that NYCT might be touting for extra business
You can see from his cordial reply (far more gracious than your retort) that he was happy to not only reply but to say he was there for any future enquiries.
I don’t intend to stalk the guy and and you may have also read a further post by me that I’m indebted to all the investors that have helped me to stay with this company and add revenue along the way, and wanted to add something from my DYOR
Isn’t it my money along with many many others buying into the company that helps towards keeping the sp ticking along ?
Think you’ll find I had more far recommendations for that post than you did for yours but on that note ....
I’ll just say GL to you and all invested in here
Cheers HM
Cheers Yoowin
As much as I read the BB daily, have a decent stake in here and research as much as possible, there are some questions that are raised on here that seem to go down the leg side, thought I’d take it on myself to go to the source and ask myself.
There are excellent contributors on here who we all seem to rely on for updates and info, was glad to give a bit back ......
@Sealion86 and other posters who wondered why the Global Distribution Manager for NCYT was looking for further uptake of their PCR tests (including me !)
Here’s his reply :
Hi .........
Thank you for your email, I have recently joined Novacyt. You are correct we have been manufacturing to keep up with the demand for these test. However after the great work by our team we have solidified our supply chain and we have greatly increased our manufacturing capacity, where we are now at a point where we can not only keep up with our current global customer demand, but we are also able to produce even more kits moving forward. This gives Novacyt the opportunity to actively recruit new customers and fulfill any additional requests for COVID-19 tests globally.
We are aware that some other manufacturers are having issues with keeping up with demand, therefore if anyone is looking for test kits to add to this much needed global requirement, it is very likely we are in a position to help them.
We are anticipating there will be a great need for these tests going forward for many months - throughout 2020-2021, therefore we are proactively looking to support new and existing global customers as their demand increases.
If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me.
Kind Regards
Cheers Scamp, apologies for raking over old news,.not sure if others had read ....and yes this is becoming a rather more interesting share with the recent shake ups, who knows indeed

Very informative and exciting, cheers for the link :)
Killed a couple of mediocre shares and consolidated my last £7.5k here, just have to sit on my hands and remind myself that I’m with an incredible company :)
Thanks to all the informed researchers ...
Sounds more like our Chadders ???
Well done Taff, Ricky, Wolvsey and every other postie who’s stretched to the limit but still has time to inform us of “actual real live” volumes and working conditions that are normally only encountered at Christmas.
As an ex RMG/Parcelforce employee (many years ago and not on the front line) I commend you ...
My niece keeps me up to date with her office in the Borders, she’s averaging a 15 mile walk per day, keeps in good spirits and delivered her mail last Friday in a unicorn outfit to jolly up the kids on her round, ( most uncomfortable and hot) ....a round where the public have constantly left her cards, Easter eggs, sweets and flowers..
And yes , this may all sound rather “sweet” on a board that can be very aggressive at some times, but just to say that RM is not taken for granted by joe public and will bend with them when letters may not arrive on time, when posties are later delivering than usual , when no mail arrives on a Saturday etc etc...
Will things ever back to normal, for anyone, I doubt it for a very long time, so in light of this pandemic let’s hope that all CEO’s and unions, not just RMG, sit down and take a long hard look at how their business model will have to change to better their employees and of course, their profits in order to keep any business stable.
Change is on the cards and both parties have accept and try and find a mutual place that benefits both sides, not easy but surely attainable.
Look forward to reading the more informative posts
And yes, a very nice start on opening :)
No account info on HL now, all shares have disappeared...;(
Just tried and getting same when trying to log in “request failed” ?
...derampers not dreamless ,, too excited to check typos
And the sun is shining again.... what more is there like at 7am whilst sitting with NCYT shares.
Thanks to all the “IMO & DYOR “ contributors and experienced investors, I’ve not only held my shares when there were times I was tempted to sell, (Now buzz off dreamless) but I’ve learned SO much about a company and its involvement in trying to move this virus along and just how much work and commitment they have put in.
