Re the IPO from 12 months ago with HL (copied and pasted direct):
I subscribed at .05p
“Thank you for your reply.
To clarify further, the 'Cost' price, is a cosmetic indicator as to how much we believe you originally paid for the shares.
If you had brought these through ourselves, we would be aware of what you originally paid and they would be documented accordingly. However when an asset is transferred from another provider [In this case PrimaryBid] we do not know the price you actually paid, and have to substitute another figure.
The default figure we use is the market price of the shares on the day we received them, in this case (name of company) was valued at 0.53p per share. This multiplied by the number of shares you hold, gives the cost price of £xxxx.
This may be different to the price you paid, for example if the price of the share has fallen since your original purchase, our cost price figure will be lower than the amount you may have originally paid.
Rip off eh
@catchy50
Pretty succinct message :
2021PRIMARY BID LON:CBX
I recently subscribed to Primary Bid and have received confirmation that my bid for xxxx shares @ .05p costing £xxxx in LON:CBX have been successful
These will be allocated to my HL Fund and Share account after the closing date 18 Feb 2021.
My PB account number is: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Please confirm the shares have been added to my account as soon as they are released as you failed to do so on a previous occasion ....at my loss
Regards blah blah
Last time I used Primary Bids for an IPO my HL account never updated until approx 2 days after the particular shares were on the market and the sp had risen by 20% so my allocation of shares had been reduced !
Furious at HL and they suggested next time I applied for a new IPO to send them a message via my account which I did last night..
Here’s hoping ..
Cgt not cut..
10% cut tax for basic income , 20% for higher earners
( I believe) ?
@Kiwi
Probably because they are in the higher tax rate margin ?
@Deagle
Worth checking this out perhaps ...
https://www.gov.uk/capital-gains-tax/gifts
“You do not pay Capital Gains Tax on assets you give or sell to your husband, wife or civil partner.”..
Seems posters on the AVCT board have read our RNS...06.17 & 06.33 comments
Someone got out of the wrong side of the bed :(
Sometimes LSE is slow in showing any RNS releases, no harm done in posting it
IMO
And for good measure she has a great great grandchild at nursery :)
@geordiesjores
No it isn’t impossible, my mother has 5 children, 2 great grand children and one grandchild who are at school age, just saying...
@Patrm
Cheers, I did have 6500 shares earlier on in year, made a newbies mistake of being impatient and selling tranches of 500’s at some small profits in case I lost out , now hold 2500 @average £3.25 and extremely happy to put the gears into neutral until ...when... until I don’t know, but I’m far more chilled and this share has taught me so much when investing in other companies
Thanks to all who have led me to stay with their research, too many to mention
My exact sentiment .... could someone point me to the best tape for keeping my hands firmly welded together
I don’t want to sell but I need some one to tell me I’m a right numpty for even considering..all ears

40% ? Thought it was 10% as a regular tax payer and 20% for higher earners
Could anyone (ShaunP ) confirm please
You just missed it Rees, it dropped to under 1p, cheerio
@rees
Mentioned about your whinging on the NCYT bb a few days ago then you decided to sell up there and make a rocket over here, have some patience man(woman?), you’d have been quids up over there now, and your paper loss here wouldn’t be giving you the sweats this is AIM, hold steady and do some research rather than chasing rainbows
The one and only company in my portfolio that hasn’t given me any missed heartbeats or reasons to ever disbelieve the CEO or the the very informative posters on this BB.
Although there is some enjoyment (?) in having a rollercoaster day with some other AIM companies I hold there’s a wonderful sigh of relief at cob when look at this share.
Only with OO since March with 15,000 shares, not a lot compared to most but very happy to see the progress this company has and is making

Hi Rees, know you’ve only just joined this BB yesterday and we all like to add some research but thought I’d change your header rather than that thread run all day long..good luck with your holding :)
Great article, excellent timing too ...
As another poster remarked earlier, fear is temporary and I’m so glad that emotion has passed since holding my shares since Feb, certainly no regrets
