The Oncogeni deal must be dead already ? They said end of June with completion shortly after so here we are 6 weeks later having heard nothing.

That’s the last we heard on the Oncogeni deal. It’s obviously not happening now so all hopes on the other deal.

“Negotiations with Nation Trust are continuing with fortnightly meetings held in the UAE and it is now expected that the binding Oncogeni SPA will be executed in June 2025, with completion shortly thereafter.

The Company will provide shareholders with further updates regarding the progress of the two abovenamed material corporate transactions as appropriate.”

And they wonder why the sp is not far off all time lows. What is people’s thoughts on the word shortly as mine is weeks, not months.

The nation’s Trust is run by the Qasimmi family by my understanding. Same person mentioned in the CNGI deal. That’s my understanding anyway. They seem confident that the CNGI deal going ahead and money expected so no idea what’s going on with ROQ as I think it’s a secret.

CNGI updated a couple of weeks ago saying:

“The principal terms of the JV will include £20m in non-dilutive license funding of which £5m is now expected to be provided in H2 2025.”

The directors must just have forgotten about ROQ !

Glad I didn’t invest in CNGI at IPO.

It’s valued at 2.5x that of ROQ and has an agreement with the same family as our Oncogeni sale.

It was valued at £125m 8 months ago lol
