Think of the sheer number of hours and emotional investment he has put into HVO, posting 450 times in 2023 only to watch it climb 120% last year.

Think of the emotional investment and time it takes for the THOUSANDS (yes really) of posts on TLY over an incredible 10 year investment, only to watch it fall 92% in that time and currently sitting at an all time low.

Think of all the times he brings up past calls and how good they have been but never mentions the share prices movements against him on the main two boards he has posted on for the last 18 months and beyond.

Maybe we just start to see where is bitterness comes from but these stories always start with an ego and end with a portfolio worth zero - holding a stock that relentless falls whilst never acknowledging a problem and simultaneously berating a stock on a long term rise while never buying and the sad thing is we've seen it all a thousand times but it always ends the same

Another miserable day in TLYs slow decline. I dont know why we bother. Current trajectory puts us at zero an bust in three months or less

I guess the main arguement is if this is significantly on the valued then other parties WILL put in a competing bid, all we can do is vote no and hopefully buy them some more time.

Is anyone concerned that they will fiddle the drill results just to make a yes vote more appealing?

I doubt the ones buying now would vote yes but the problem is the bulk of the buying will be done by the company buying them out or proxies for them. It's game theory really and if no PIs sold and all voted no, we would all win but the problem is the guys selling from our side and the ones who won't bother to vote especially

The problem is their 20% is set in stone whereas PIs will a lot of the time, not bother to vote. The message needs to get out but I think a competing offer is the most likely scenario here regardless

Of course upside is bigger than 5% elsewhere, but upside here is bigger than 5% too. The point you gloss over is in fact the important one; "risk attached". Too many people make the mistake of seeing prices rising and thinking that have missed out whilst simultaneously ignoring the other 10 they follow that have fallen or stagnated.

And for your recor, I have increased my holding by a good size at 12.99 but if remortgaged my house it would move the price to the point the gain wouldn't be a guaranteed 5% any more and it's also a lot of hassle to do so, but I know you were being deliberately obtuse anyway

Jammin, that's 5% in a couple of months; compounded it's 34% a year and 1867% over ten years. If you can't appreciate that's a good return, you simply do not understand investing

Crazy really that one of their jobs is to act in the shareholders interest but it's there in black and white that they are selling the whole company just because there isn't enough liquidity for them personally to sell out without impacting share price.
