"Unbelievable that the directors are allowed to legally lie to PIs in form of RNS. "
--
Just to correct myself ...they didn't 'lie' per sai (as they stated 'minimum' of £1m) but they were clearly not being truthful either...the actual amount that was subsequently raised was 170% more than indicated and yet they will have known that at the time of indicating a 'minimum').
Well, can't say Im surprised at the extra raise. I previously suspected that the £1m they indicated a few days ago wouldn't be enough (and expected another £1m) but didn't see them doing this in one go right now. Unbelievable that the directors are allowed to legally lie to PIs in form of RNS.
No trusting management in small caps - despite the notion of "duty of care" they do NOT serve PI shareholders but instead serve a few "sophisticated" investors (sophisticated my a*rse - the insiders always get the rewards at the lowest risk and at the expense of the PIs).
Hope more PI don't continue to fall for these games and learn the proper way of trading/investing in the Stock Market.
“any sp predictions on news”
—-
Yes, the rampers on here will give you an answer (but be aware, insanity prevails with them as their SP predictions are based on what they want the SP to be).
The irony is that even if the SP doubled from here, it wouldn’t make too much difference to most PIs who got in too early with averages in 0.2p’s, 0.3p’s and higher. High learning curve for most on here.
“But the 4billion funding to Ecuador via ICC was only announced last month (14th Feb)”
——
The financing is to be spread over 5 years (2022-2026) and the pilot plan is to finance electronic invoicing for SME’s in Equador with the involvement of the tax offices.

This has no direct impact on SYME’s business. Don’t think you know something that the Market doesn’t. There’s a reason the SP it’s on its knees and no need to keep repeating those reasons. Until SYME release catalysts the SP will remain depressed no matter how good the story telling is. It is what it is.
"At 0.001075 ..." and this got 10 votes (unbelievable).

The excitement this morning....by MRRR and 333888 (I think green bin time)....goes to show they know SFA.
Whilst there's been decent volumes, it could be more of an overall Market thing (as other shares have performed the same), as a few said, MMs will pay their games and the SP retreating to 0.8p and 0.7p levels should not be a surprise (given historical performance).
Contrary to some regulars on here, I think next RNS will be end of month (2021 results released due 1 April, same as last year) and meantime SP downward trend remains in tact (sadly).
Calm indeed....we still need those elusive catalysts if the SP trend is going to change, otherwise back down again.
(It's been painful reading so many nonsensical posts from a few on here who can't contain their excitement when most LTHs are still holding paper losses).
Elllltelinv, you need to take a break mate...every week/month you come on predicting the same thing and now with nonsensical SP predictions (a bit like GM).
Even at this stage, no way of knowing when IM will happen and the "update strategy" next month may well throw more light onto the timeframes but would be a blow if they disappoint again in any shape or form (delaying IM, funding issues, weaker than expected 'net' originations due to insufficient clients moving to digitised system at this stage etc).
This could make new all-time lows quite easily. Hope not but hope is not the same as solid fundamental news which is what is lacking.
The market is indicating where the placing price will be...around 1p levels or lower.
Just heard Justin Waite and GC spin the 'disappointing drop' in SP of 50% but 'there are positives'...yeah right, certainly not for PIs. Mcap too high for the weak fundamentals - no growth in revenues and continuing loss before tax.
Any placing shares for the minimum £1m (will need to raise another £1m later IMO so more dilution to come) plus 1:1 warrants will keep a lid on the SP evolution for the foreseeable future (until they can prove scaling up of revenues and start making positive EBITDA, if ever). Could even be T/O at a disappointing SP for LTHs here.
Most small caps always end up the same way - raising funds at expense of PIs. It is what it is.
“…..but glad I sold out in the end..”

Mr Investment tells us he sold out of SYME….forgive me for saying but shouldn’t your moniker read Mr Disinvestment?
I love the new handles on here….clearly I’ve got too much time on my hands this morning.
Unlikely to get any news until April and so SP stays in it’s long term down trend. SYME has been delaying first IM and exactly why remains a mystery given the growth in originations. Are they really finding it hard to get funding? It just doesn’t seem right.
They need to start being more transparent if they are serious about growing MCap.
2021 accounts won’t reveal much but at least we’ll see whether TF is turning a profit or not and what the origination numbers look like over the period.
GLA whatever your motives for being here.
"Wow certainly a lot of idiots on here today".
---
Yep, got that right but....to be honest....the best thing about our new posters on this BB are their handles....fox(s)y (cunning alright) and then goon(boy) (certainly does write silly posts). You can't make it up (or maybe you can after all). Stay well folks!
We know they've secured a drilling rig and have estimated the drillings costs (per 11.11.21 RNS) but nowhere does it say that the costs are 'fixed'. They are 'quoted' and so there's a difference.
We don't know all the contract terms but at the end of the day the anticipated overall cost of the drill can still change depending on other variables and what happens during drilling...so fresh placing or more CLN's could be used to further dilute PIs - just something to be aware of and so I think still time here to place your bets. GL.
“…we have a signed contract to get this drill away, as prices for drilling are expected to rise in line with these high oil prices”
——-
Exactly and so we don’t know if they will incur much higher costs and combine that with the mis-payment of a few million that went to the wrong bank account (have they got this back yet?), the company could end up doing a late placing to raise more funds to cover the final drill cost. Just a thought.
“Things have been delayed but the story of our mine is far from over.”
——-
LOL…your post got voted up 21 times and yet the above sentence explains why most PIs lose money in the stock market - they think a story not fundamentals lead to a SP increase (thanks to MSM manipulations). Can only sympathise with those losing money here. You’ve been taken for a ride.
There’s a very good reason why Sprott never got involved with AMC and still PI don’t get it. I will say again - this was never an investment stock but a punt like most small caps.
"Isn't an elephant in the room, the thing nobody wants to talk about?"
---
Yes, fair enough and but also it is a major problem in the sense it is not being addressed by the company itself in terms of releasing follow up based on expectations and any sort of concrete news so that we can assess exactly where we are with this and potential for SP growth from this low level (by comparison to start of year).
Just to repost my message below. Don't understand why threads or posts are removed often here it would seem, very strange for LSE to being doing that.
Hi Brass, I am invested and totally agree with your sensible comments (unlike repetitive nonsense posted by GM who I filtered).
The elephant in the room is the lack of first IM news: they appear to not be generating any significant revenues yet and that could be connected to a change in strategy to be announced next month which will buy for more time.
So the take up despite all the excitement of growth in originations and a few cooperation agreements by TF (which generates insignificant revenues on its own) must be poor. Hence why no follow up news on all those IM agreements ‘close to be signed’.
Furthermore the loaned shares and CLNs will continue to impact the SP negatively through the whole of this year!
So those invested can only sit this out and pray for major catalysts to be released just to begin a change in the SP trend from this very low base which means many PIs with higher averages in 0.4’s and 0.5’s will be lucky to recover their capital IMO making the risk/reward here a very poor choice of stock.
