I've thought of another advantage for the hybrid generator.

At night the diesel genset can be turned off, with power used from the fuel cell and battery. Thus eliminating any nighttime noise from the site, allowing nearby residents a peaceful night's sleep.

The whole point of the solution announced today is that owners of diesel generators will run them into the ground before they buy a Hydrogen generator. The AFC solution allows them to do that, but at the same time save 50% of the fuel and cut pollution by 50%.

BOXHY only goes up to 8kW. The AFC solution can cover generators of megawatts, as it's not replacing the generator, only storing it's excess energy that would otherwise have been wasted.
