2020 is THE year for AFC Energy14 Feb 2020 12:17
I've been in since Feb 2008 so already a multi-bagger for me and took my original stake out many years ago, so now sitting on free stock, hence can wait as long as it takes.
However, having been a shareholder for almost all of its listed life, and followed it all of its listed life, I'd say right now we are in the best position we have ever been in as far as commercialisation goes.
We have an EV Charger that has been built to fill a significant unmet demand for off-grid needs and the clients are lined up.
We have a solution to diesel generators that has been built to fill what is a global opportunity to cut emissions wherever diesel generators are used, and there's a massive number of them in place and sold every year. This is also a halfway step to getting rid of diesel generators and replacing them with hydrogen generators over a 5-10 year period.
We have a membrane that can replace Nafion, this is another huge development and its value should not be underestimated. The value per annum of Nafion sales is over a billions dollars (1.2bn in 2018 and growing by CAGR of 8.5 percent from 2018 to 2022). With fuel cell and electrolysis sales likely to accelerate due to the climate change emergency, this is going to keep going up.
IMVHO we should be 3-4 times the MCap already, but we will get there and I'm quite happy to wait.
