So this has to be a different system, and the image name "Neom-Setting-off1-web" is indicating it was for the Neom new city build project.

This has to be under NDA, but MSP made a big slip with their image naming. They should have renamed the image when they published it on the Web.

Being involved in Neom would be massive publicity for AFC, and whoever has chosen it (possibly Mace or a.n.other)

Yes, I remember that. Speculation at the time was that it was off to Extreme E as a second system, but that didn't seem to be the case.

If it went for testing prior to the Neom project starting, it would at this point be as an off-grid generator for the construction industry. But also there is scope to use AFC systems for power, either balancing renewable energy using Hydrogen, or just using green Ammonia.

When AEX was coming up with inaccuracies in it's drilling, I was adamant that we needed to do 3D Seismic. Finally we are going to get precise data on what is down there and where to drill, so if it takes to Q3 2022 to get drilling then I am happy with that, and I'd rather have that than another "it wasn't quite on target" RNS from AEX.

11.42 miles by 11.42 miles is also a very big area to try and find the missing oil which moved up-dip.

The ball is now with the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, and I sent their response to AFC.

Either OZEV can ask AFC for a visit and factory tour, or AFC can invite some people from OZEV to visit them.

I was hoping they would add in the AFC/ABB FC Chargers to their list of options for getting rollout phases completed by 2030/2035, as they know that it's going to be almost impossible to hit the targets if loads of substations need to go in, which is likely the case. A visit to AFC and chat with AB about the FC EV Chargers would help a lot with that I think.

I'd say it's because in The Hydrogen Council they are dealing with many global blue chip companies. AFC are going global not just UK. The UK HFCA and The Hydrogen Council will be communicating on policies and other things too.

AFC can still announce new products, as those may not be deemed financially sensitive, or they may not have fixed the date of the announcement yet.

Also, an RNS for the sale of one or more systems could come any day. The Director doesn't know when a deal will be signed, so has no more insight into timing of that news than anyone else in the market.

What I had sent them:

I read with interest the article on FleetNews entitled 'EV charging infrastructure key to uptake, says transport minister', particularly the issues around the lack of infrastructure, and that companies are being asked to pay for a new substation in order to achieve the power levels required for charging an EV fleet.

I was wondering if you had been advised of the EV Charging system being produced by British company AFC Energy, with a soon to be released integrated offering with partner ABB Ltd, which offers off-grid EV Charging with zero emissions, utilising easily stored Ammonia or Green Hydrogen. This removes the cost of a substation and costly three phase cabling, and the time and cost of lengthy roadworks.

I suggest a visit to the AFC Energy headquarters and factory would be very worthwhile. Meanwhile the following links will give you some useful information.
