Stellantis to go fully electric in Europe by 2026

The Stellantis group has committed to selling only fully-electric cars in Europe by 2026 – a key part of a new strategy called Dare 2030

According to Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares, the group is “well into the development cycle” of next-generation all-electric models for the 2026 deadline. Tavares also confirmed that Stellantis plans for 50 per cent of all sales in the United States to be electric by 2030.

Beyond the Dare 2030 deadline, the group has set out a roadmap towards complete ‘well-to-wheel’ carbon neutrality by 2038. Stellantis will also focus on expanding its battery production capabilities to 400GWh – 250GWh of which will be based in Europe, plus the continued development of hydrogen fuel-cell technology for commercial vehicles.

From AFC's Website, the L series in a 40 foot ISO shipping container would be 400kW, whereas the S Series in the same container would be 2MW.

The HFC uses the same stack as the S Series, so that means it should be as little as one fifth of the size of the L Series for the same power level.
