Go for HSBC and BARC, any pure U.K bank will always be sad. Trading U.K markets will be painful and sad.......that’s why VOD is a better bet even if the U.K becomes a new-Nazi state after brexit (take back power / take back control) or worse a commy state under Corbyn! The U.K is messed up politically and all current crop of politicians are useless. Everybody hates trump buy look at U.S markets.

Yet, Sky is getting crazy premium, Costa getting that amount of cash. Usual depressing pessimism from U.K people again. Inward looking people here should shut up if they don’t want to make money. There is money to be made here just as there was in SKY, RMG, SBRY, TSCO, PFC, GKN, WTB, ZPG just to mention a few. I would rather be a wrong optimist than to be a right sad pessimist.

Euro would appreciate against £ once rates go up. I think countries with useless currencies should just switch to euro / dollar............Venezuela should sell it’s gold and oil reserves and use the hard currency to buy up businesses, pay government staff and import goods for resale instead wasting money to print loads of worthless paper.

How can emerging currencies be that weak? That’s even after Bernanke printed so much cash.......now Trump knows that America has to become more productive to bring down its huge deficit. Personally I don’t like any currency apart from £$€.

I think most people here think VOD is a British company.......nah! VOD is a global super brand and with lots of hidden value. Coca Cola paid that much for costa, who knows what AT&T or another American telecoms would pay. VOD is worth at least 230p.........300p offer would be acceptable.

If houses were being sold at cheaper prices, most here would buy just because it is cheaper. Only broke guys with no spare cash can moan about VOD SP. If you have more money then say thank you and buy some more.

Stop looking for 180p now because it’s been pushed down. You need to have some spine guys, look at whitbread........15% premium was hidden in Costa even though it has been rising to the point that I thought it was overvalued. Retail investors need to chill out, buy more and stop crying.

VOD is 100% safer than PMO trust me and it comes with juicy divi. It would still be juicy even if they cut the divi by 50%.
