We've heard quite a few 'experts' rubbish the potential of oil from HH or the Weald. Including Smyth et al. There was even a BBC report on it stating it was all twaddle. Not an eggcup full woudl come out.

I'll stick with BP as well as UKOG grayling, but you've spouted total twaddle as if you were an expert, which is rather stupid.

Grayling, the play at UKOG and ANGS are not fracking, as stated on many occations. In fact the time and dm have recently had to retract incorrect and lazy statements saying they're fracking companies. The play is naturally fractured and not deep enough to even qualify for fracking legally under current rules.

Maybe take a read of the UKOG website and it'll make that clear. At the moment they're in the process of taking oil out of Horse Hill from one vertical test well daily and have a large drilling program planned for this year, some drills already have approval for EWT and in April the SCC will meet to decide whether to grant a production license. No fracking involved

Alternatively...dor short on cash, isssues with angs and they want to expand west aussie interests. Shares in ukog give them skin in the hh game. Then again if one is negative by design then they would only see it through a negative prism

Penguin, there was a figure given, on a BBC documentary by TW. It was an eggcup full. We have also been told, repeatedly by a geologist (now discredited) that there was no commercial oil in the weald. He was also referenced cery loudly very verbosely by a financial writer in the telegraph. It would appear they were wrong. Very very wrong

Morning all, Stu1984 doesn't like UKOG, thinks it's a bad investment, thinks it's going to lose money and never go up.

Now just in case you're not sure, Stu really doesn't believe in UKOG - which is of course Stu's right.
