It's 5 years this month since life changing money was made here.
0.34 to 4p in 6 weeks.
Hindsight of course to have bailed before the independent report.

I like Trudy and when she joined it was a coup for Lvcg.
She also took very little out of Lvcg, even declining her small wage for 2019.
I lost some respect when she backed up DCs £100k bonus for the SA nonsense.
Regardless, she's a loss to Lvcg.

My take on this is Ciclitira is a very difficult man to work with.

Now there will be an overhang and possibly selling into any rise with limited time before spud/drill/results.

The last CR the price didn't retrace to placing price meaning instant profit for those who participated.
This time 27% discount, they'll be licking their lips, especially when there are clowns ramping up the upcoming drill in an attempt to raise the price.

Jiddy, it's simple market mechanics.
Investors are given a chance to buy shares at a discount that they hope to sell for a quick profit.
They won't be holding for results.
They will be hoping the price moves up from placing price as spud and results get closer.

It doesn't matter if its oversubscribed or not. Those taking the Placing won't hold through results, they won't risk it. They'll flip beforehand.
The last CR was oversubscribed, folk were scaled back on what they applied for.
You think those that took it are still holding? Long gone is my guess.

This is very high risk now, all hinging on results, and even on good results the possibility of a 1% shareholder selling into them as he puts the 88e journey behind him.

moneyhawk, this is what I find baffling.
If the reasons were personal I'd have expected that to be highlighted in the RNS. But it wasn't.
Stepping down at this critical stage seems a bit off and out of character.
Yes he is on a ludicrous renumeration but that doesn't mean he doesn't need the funds.
Whilst on the BOD declaring any selling would crash the SP, assuming he didn't get out before notifying.
After May he can do what he likes.

The timing of this just doesn't make any sense to me.
I'm no fan of Dave Wall but I hope this is a business reason rather than a personal one.
Next Quarter he leaves the Company, is he also planning on selling out?
Is he going to be a distressed seller?
Does he hold over 3%?
From May onwards, regardless of results, does he have to notify his dealings?
