Here's an exciting link to a tie up agreement Georgia Renewable Power has with Veolia Energy who has a long term power purchase supply agreement with Duke Energy. Both these companies are major global player in the energy supply markets so this agreement could snowball very quickly for AEG

https://bioenergyinternational.com/heat-power/veolia-selected-operate-georgia-renewable-power-biomass-plants

Interesting Tweet from Gerald Cunningham President of the Metis Settlement General Council. Looks like Richard Spinks made great progress with two of the Settlement groups (East Prairie & Gift Lake) during his recent visit to Alberta Canada.

Thanks for the link to the Powerwood website Tobybs. Having look through its contents its very interesting to see this company's mission is:- "To generate sustainable renewable energy using waste biomass and biomass from sustainably and environmentally managed sources while promoting biodiversity and sustainable economic development." Their first of many project worldwide is a 41.5MW plant in Le Crete Northern Alberta Canada and it is shown as a implementing project on the Emission Reduction Alberta website who work with government, industry and innovators to accelerate development of innovative technologies that reduce GHG emissions and they are helping Alberta transition to a lower carbon future with a stronger, more diversified economy. http://eralberta.ca/projects/details/forestry-waste-electrical-power-fuel-variability-minimization-la-crete-project/ Having been a long standing shareholder in AEG, since Mr Spinks arrival, I remember when he announced his long term ambition was to own everything in the supply chain from the wood in the forest right through to generating the electricity coming out of the customers plug. I therefore can see how this exciting tie up and acquiring the controlling interest in Powerwood helps rapidly accelerate Mr Spinks delivering on his commitment to his AEG shareholders and now also brings another exciting dimension to the AEG business and it's future share price.
Land Resources holds meeting with local Northern Peninsula leaders and forest operators RODDICKTON-BIDE ARM, N.L. A meeting with provincial government representatives has left Roddickton-Bide Arm mayor Sheila Fitzgerald feeling optimistic about a pellet plants prospects on the Great Northern Peninsula. But she hopes it wont drag the process out unnecessarily. http://www.northernpen.ca/business/region-discusses-active-energys-forestry-proposal-207341/

Hi MaxMoargolliss. Although I agree with part of your summery with Rocky Mountain wanting to satisfy themselves before moving forward with CoalSwitch their motivation is also to try and keep highly valued coal miners in their jobs at the mines in Utah. This is why they paid for the extensive co-firing and co-milling tests at the University in Utah enabling them to see what would happen if they introduced CoalSwitch into their fuel mix and both these returned results above expectation. Further blending tests have also recently been completed at Universities in Poland again returning excellent results leading to the Cobant JV and starting production of what's been described as a new super fuel. With Presidents Trump's Clean Coal Plan coming under increased pressure the introduction of a AEG Coal/Biomass blend super fuel could be a WIN WIN for all allowing coal fired power stations to immediately reduce their emissions inline with regulations requirements, keeping miners in jobs along with their companies in business and the USA producing cheap electric to energise the rebuilding of it's great industries.
A nice update from Doc Holiday on the appointment of Simon Melling onto the AEG Board. Commentary starts at the 2.52 minute mark. https://soundcloud.com/doc-h-4/dlc-16-3-the-helmets-ride Simon''s held very senior positions at both Cenkos Securities as COO & CEO then at Ravenscroft Stockbroking & Investment Management as COO & Head of Corporate Finance. Both these positions will have helped him develop a very impressive list of investment funds which AEG will now be able, with his guidance, to tap into very quickly.

Polands 180-degree turnaround to green energy bears first fruits The right-wing Polish government seems to be making a 180-degree turnaround on sustainable energy in the country and investors look eagerly forward to new renewable energy auctions later this year https://renewablesnow.com/news/overview-polands-180-degree-turnaround-to-green-energy-bears-first-fruits-604409/
Interest in green technology has risen sharply. At the last regional economic forum, the number of exhibitors in the field of renewable energy cleanly doubled in a single year. Meetings for adapting to climate change are being held in Katowices town hall, and there is a subsidy program for replacing old coal-fired heaters with newer systems preferably powered by renewable energy. http://www.theenergycollective.com/richard-fuchs/2427736/katowice-european-coal-capital-goes-green
Are Black Pellets Ready to Compete with White Pellets? Advanced wood pellets, often called black pellets due to their appearance after thermal treatment, have long been touted as a superior fuel to conventional white wood pellets. Advanced wood pellets, often called black pellets due to their appearance after thermal treatment, have long been touted as a superior fuel to conventional white wood pellets. Black pellets are supposed to address some of the potential shortcomings associated with white wood pellets for use as a substitute for coal in pulverized coal power plants. Black pellet key advantages that have been put forward over the years include the elimination of the need for dry storage and transportation, better grindability, less dust formation during handling and storage, and higher specific energy density. Black pellets generally refer to two distinct technological approaches to developing an advanced wood pellet: torrefaction and steam explosion (SE). http://biomassmagazine.com/articles/15072/are-black-pellets-ready-to-compete-with-white-pellets
Looking at the cost of UK fertiliser prices perhaps AEG should consider entering that market to. https://www.agrigem.co.uk/0-24-24-fertiliser-600kg?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIst_m6t-Z2QIV7zLTCh2RrgLgEAkYASABEgIFyPD_BwE That's over 530 per ton where selling pelleted fuel to Drax would only command approx 170
