Vodafone and BT are an interesting pear trade. A rotten pear of stocks. Luckily I'm not in either although I am wondering is i should buy some or whether both are value traps...

If the FTSE 100 goes down after a nice run will they move into unwanted Vodafone and BT or will they both get dragged lower along with everything else? That is the question of the day.
I don't care one bit if Evanescent has filtered me, maybe he's got heavy losses on Vodafone.
For me I'm wondering whether to buy Vodafone or not...

Thankyou narcus. I tend to forget that some here are already in Vodafone and so get annoyed at bearish comments. I'm just looking around for some shares to buy having missed the run from the October low. Vodafone seems cheap, the only I can find, however it could be a value trap...

The index has recently been going up day after day recently but not taking Vodafone with it. The question is, when the nice run comes to an end as it surely will, will they rotate into Vodafone or not. If the FTSE 100 went down a lot from here would it drag Vodafone even lower?

Vodafone flat as a pancake all day. Can't see how it's not more volatile including up and down price movement.

I noticed, they have been groaning on about Brexit all day long

This kid I was working with was in a rush to go out and turned it on before we had finished working. I was trying to join all the earth wires together with everything turned on. Getting shocks cos I was sweating a bit. Induced emf they call it. Electro motive force. We left at 4.30 and the bank was burning only a few hours later.

It was a Friday night when it burnt. It came on Points West local news. I was a bit concerned obviously at the time because i had been doing some electrical work in the bank on that day. I had some quite powerful shocks that day if i remember correctly.

Reckon you sold BP at a good price. Vodafone i have no idea really where it will go. Been looking around for some shares to buy for over a month but don't see anything i fancy at the moment.
