I for one Page would like my daily breakfast routine not to include looking for the BOR RNS, I really don't. Nearly every day for years, it's time to conclude this story by farmout or by selling. Long term investors here have stagnated their investments here just with inflation, hope something happens soon. After all- the board work for us and not the other way around, if they can't do it- they MUST go.

Perhaps the board cannot disclose???????????? What do you expect them to say? " Farmout discussions are proceeding very well and we have numerous companies that are interested, a deal is highly likely by the end of the year" The price of our stock will be multiples higher, and if its takeover rather than farm out discussions our would be partner or new owner will not be happy. It's a closed period- silence until a deal is done, simple really although very frustrating. Or of course absolutely f all is happening and in that case silence is probably better for the board- either way its quiet time.........

the problem is though- everyone already knows this. fi is a bit more complicated to say the least, on the back of a *** packet this is the most compelling investment case that has ever been available on aim- it's that bloody good.

downside in its absolute entirety is the geography, which is why we hover between 2-5p for eternity. needs some brass balls to do this and if there are any of these around i will tell you now- it's in the oil and gas industry. these greedy blood suckers have drilled in live war zones.

so a deal will be coming, will it be everything we hope for? nope but will it be bloody close?- yes.

Anth- yep it's been a bloody long journey and like you I think that finally we are due to start a new chapter soon.

Candlesticks don't apply to much of AIM, that's for sure and including this one.............. On another note Brent is forecast to go into the 90's and with our CEO saying "this phase of farm out activity will continue over the coming months" leads me to believe that a deal is likely to be concluded soon. (Given the fact that farm out has been ongoing for several years prior) Hopefully dot the I's and cross the T's is all that is needed.

Yep could well be a takeover target indeed but what price will it be here- 20p? Don't think that will wash with the big holders here, considering we have around 40 billion dollars + of liquid gold

Dutch, if you studied history you will see the fi was never the Argies in the first place. Also the Argies only want it for its oil because they can't run their country correctly when it comes to economics (and haven't for many years). Every tin pot regime that has ever governed hasn't been even able do simple maths let alone run a country. So your reference to wanting their territory back is total BS, it isn't theirs to give back. The FI is British and will remain so- forever. As for the Europeans agreeing to call the FI Malvinas- who gives a sh*t as to what they call the FI? Europe will still buy offshore energy from wherever they can get it.

This should start to move soon (either way) can't stay bubbling forever! Brent crude due to continue its upward path . Board have until end of 2024 earliest before they need more money, time is one thing we do have and I still think a deal will be concluded in 2023.

You are wrong MD, Brimacombe is interested with his 66 million shares for starters and I think you may have or did have at least 6 shares here as your main investment.............. MD I think you will find historically that Farm in's are the preferred route rather than aggressive takeovers. The main thing is shared risk, the knowledge of the board who discovered our asset and finally the larger holders would almost definitely reject a stupid offer for the company. As for the split, 70/30 is the norm with cash considerations. 80/20 is possible I presume but less than isn't going to happen, again for the above reasons that the larger shareholders would not accept it. That said, its my strong opinion only and nobody knows what's going on right now or where we will be this time next year.

MD, you bring absolutely no useful comments here whatsoever. If Darwin is farmed out then Bor will obviously cash in from future production, therefore creating our own cashflow to go after other high grade prospects within our licence area. As for 97%- 3% split or 95%-5% split, this shows how brainless you really are.

Hi Tincan, it will be solely Darwin that's farmed out, the rest of the licence area is ours. I suspect it will be a 70/30 split and I suspect that finally the end game is in sight for this extremely long episode in the company's history (and mine). I expect a farm out agreement pretty soon.
