So how much you think NHS staff should be paid? There is the massive recruitment and retention problems.

Is a funny think the BBC..Over £400 Millions spent on its foreign news channels ( Govt grant £291million, FDOC £94 million, second Govt grant £20million)which broadcast 24/7 to over 318 million people.

This is allegedly commercially funded.

But none of them need the Tv licence..

Respect. But is not the hub of the problem that the State pension is too low? Was these "freebies" from Brown not a way of limiting the pension increases? Trouble with freebies is they can be taken away..

What about TV licence? Not much said about that now.

Trouble is this is not the free money. Someone has to pay... Why should pensioners get the allowance and not say the youngsters starting off in life who are probably least able to afford this as they will probably has the mortgage as well and travel to work costs etc etc. Is not the age discrimination?

I could never understand why that allowance was not per household instead it was per person..

As for austerity 2... Only avoided with large tax rises. In the parlous state the Uk economy left in you cannot have the cake and eat it...
