Agreed - they massively reduced cash usage and that was before they decided to land that grant which will further offset the need. Assuming they meet their targets and market expectations I see no need for a raise….hopefully ever again as they’ll be generating cash.

Think it’s easy to forget that FAB have been capitalising on ML and AI for years before it was in vogue.

Which is why it’s great they’ve got their own technology for this and are working with Oxford Uni on the potential for their own propietary algorithms.

Remember they released their AiMLab tech and have a partnership with a top US AI company!

The trades at 8.57 look to be buys showing as sell because of strange spread here. Hopefully we hear news from the company soon

Hopefully news not far away , lots of different things going on and end of financial year approaching. It’s only a matter of time and the latest updates have been very positive

One of those shares that was a pure recovery play that has absolutely paid off, the management have done a sterling job and they’re primed for a fantastic year in my view

This para fits with FABs optimal platform neatly we’re already seeing them use their mammalian display for other proteins successfully…

That along with the peel hunt analysis of AIM takeovers suggest FAB is ripe for an offer this year it’s just about timing and hopefully decent news will already have landed that means that price is fair and recognises the true potential value here.

Imagine the fab optiphage client decides they want that whole technology - could be around this value maybe - that was just to get access to one platform and fab have multiple ones

Good to see the UK government embracing AI this morning. FAB well placed with their Ai/Ml-Ab service and have been doing this sort of stuff for years anyway.

Allenby previous notes predicting that Aimlab and Optimal will be greatest driver of growth for FAB so exciting to see what comes in this space.

I agree, they were bullish before that was announced. They did a webinar with Sharesoc in December. After it this question was emailed out which says it all really. Their move to profitability and scalability has just massively accelerated:

The grant funding allows us to do more R&D at a lower cost. The capital equipment element is provided free to Fusion and so reduces our cost of sales for relevant projects enhancing margins and making us more competitive. This includes some of the higher value projects.

On optiphage according to the RNS, “ the Client has also secured an option to an exclusive license to the library for an additional fee and would pay royalties on antibodies developed for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Fusion remains free to develop further OptiPhageTM libraries for its own use or for other clients as it adds this service to its increasingly comprehensive range of offerings.”

This project is coming into its latter phases according to the CEO at last update so we could soon get news of an exclusive fee arrangement for that!! Exciting times if it goes well.

Hopefully it should be great, not often a $6bn organisation comes along wanting to test your tech. If I recall they’re working on 4 targets including cancer targets and antibodies for sars-cov 2. Hopefully means we might get multiple papers out of this and the CEO said the NCI were putting more resources behind the project !

Was highlighting more for the fact that Hardman have chosen them to be included in the index which is supposed to:

But FAB rising like the phoenix to quote Zak Mir anyway with fantastic performance emerging out of challenging period
