Listen to our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode 'Uncovering opportunities with investment trusts' with The AIC's Richard Stone here.
AS has gone from Hero to Zero and is the main cause of the fall in price.
Three primary failings
1. Over promises.
2. Failure to get even close to delivering promises.
3. Poor communications skills.
Apart from that everything is set fair for maybe mid 2222 or 2223
I think that the typo testes instead of tests could have been prophetic as most of the RNSs we have been fed for months are a positive and constructive load of boll**cks masquerading as progress but concealing a failure to deliver the near perfect RFT promised for the autumn on which the current share price is based. So -10p today's. Well done AS.
I got my answer for Ceres and ITM and it is Scania.
Much better than some vaguely abusive slurs on my intelligence
A snapshot of three of my holdings at approx 12.30pm today.
I am mystified, I know the MMs manipulate the market but it’s getting ridiculous.
Ceres (CWR) Bought 486,000 Sold 238,000 Share price down 6.17%
ITM (ITM) Bought 2,105,000 Sold 1,787,000 Share Price Down 10.18%
Avacta (AVCT) Bought 1,070,000 Sold 466,000 Share Price Down 7.27%
Can anyone throw some light on this for me please.

I have two relatively small portfolios by many standards, an ISA and a SIPP
Across the two I hold 22 different stocks primarily in three sectors, Pharma, Mining and Green Energy. Typical are EUA, Ectec, ITM, Velocys, Omega Synairgen.
Only one is not either showing a rise or at worst no change. Can you guess which one?
A clue they closed at 149 on Friday.
I am mystified. I first bought into Avacta in April last year when they announced that they were on the brink of producing a revolutionary LFT that would beat everything else out of sight. I also bought in May, June, July, August and October based on further promises of the imminent release of their world beating solution. During that time a whole series of companies (mostly Chinese) have succeeded in selling the British Government billions of pounds worth of sub-standard LFTs. They may be substandard but they seem to satisfy Handjob and Boris. Meanwhile Big (but rapidly shrinking) Al contemplates his naval, seeking perfection and watching the share price get closer and closer to £1. By the time they release the product we will all be immune. And yet like a fool I will probably hang on in there. And at least there is a chance for a universal cure for all cancers before the LFT.
