Going to be a very interesting battle with the sellers v buyer again today. No news, so will be interesting to see if the buyers can win this one like they did yesterday. Personally I think buyers will win again! Let’s see…

Tomorrow would be a very good to have a nice RNS with positive news!

Feeling we should be ready for some news, so you never know - fingers crossed.

I see the seller tried again to move this lower a few time, didn't work today for some reason - is that a new support sign, and the sellers may now find it difficult to move lower when they want to on relatively low volume?

A few meaty sells were just absorbed today - another good sign...

Share price taking a breather for a little while, but looks likes it might start off again with buying into the last hours trading and into the close. Im not selling, as one of these attempts to move over 40p will happen at some point soon...

Will it manage to break the 40p and break out further -plenty have been watching this from the side lines...

I agree comeonvog - low chance of success, but as it's a free carry, sort of a no or certainly a low risk gamble to play this. The rest of the business is where the value is. That's why I can't understand traders not being interested as some O & G companies are a pure play wild cat drill and extremely over valued and if a duster then all bets are off! MEN, although it would be disappointing, would still be profitable with other opportunities to grow!

If they find O or G and is commercial then its a game changer (subject to size of find of course) - PL always warns that drilling is high risk - which to be fair to him, he never gets any credit on that front, for not trying the blue sky the opportunity!

Let's hope this RNS communication/timings quoted is based on 'under promise/over deliver' and it's possible to potentially spud earlier than end of Q1, but they have left in some wiggle room for potential delays...

This is the market at its worse... regardless of PL management/communication style. Seen it all before, it won't last forever when the next profit numbers are announced.

This was marked down before even one trade - clearly there was no value built in to the SP for this drill - so why a large drop on what is really, in really terms, a slight delay which was known to all it was already delayed anyway.

Just totally out of favour with no love for this share at the moment. I still like the fundamentals so I will wait this out, still confident this share is a bargain at these prices - I'm in no rush TBH (well, not in my SIPP anyway!)

So the Paraguay drill programme was valued as part of MEN MC at approx approx £2m value as this is what has been wiped of the MC because of a 3 to 4 month delay! Image if it was a duster!

MEN total MC is £14m this morning with ATOM holding worth £10.5m of that - so due to delay the US and Argentine business O & G is worth £3.5m - MEN is at approx $40m turnover and profitable!

Crazy times… let’s see how this plays out

At least we now know what we all expected re delay to Q1 drilling. Not too long of a delay as long as they keep to this and it doesn’t drift further into Q2. MThere are some details listed - hopefully PL will keep us fully updated on all parts of the programme including rig contract this month and start of mobilisation as move through the process.

Oil field services are already complete so that’s a positive - clearly MEN are fully organised and up to date with their side of the programme - drill contractor has let them down massively, what a shame we selected a drill provider with a related issue to a bankruptcy! You would hope they will obtain preferential rates with lower costs to compensate! At least MEN have other business interests, so this news shouldn’t impact too much - but then again, this is MEN!

Any news update on the potential gas farm out please Mr Levine? No update received since it was first announced sometime ago now!

Must be some news to be announced very soon comeonvog - I am confident that this will recover and be trading far higher than where we are today. The business seems to be doing okay turnover/profit wise and ATOM value is holding up well also - I have a large holding here and I am under water by 50% - this should be trading at £3, now - I certainly know how to pick em!!

I do know that if I wanted to buy the % I hold now, my purchases would move the needle some what - happy to see when (if) this moves higher if the sellers still active - there is a large gap between now and £3 with limited buys but many sells during the down part recently - can see this moving higher very quickly, just some patience required and the right news flow.

If PL changed his tactics when he mentions specific dates in his initial RNS update but then decides to not mention again then the markets might get behind him a little more. Keep up fully updated PL, even if its challenging news as I would prefer to know what happening then your just not mention it again

Very little stock about, keeps going to NT with very small volume. But the bid is moving up. Maybe due some news very soon...

Ha ha - you couldn't make it up - no volume with this share. I think everyone have been beaten down and finally given up.

Just one bit of positive news and this could 1 x bag easily, been saying this a while now though!

Very frustrating the way IES SP has been behaving recently, but i do think IES will be part of a merger/partnership very soon, so I'm staying invested - the mistral deal is a game changer (9 to 12 months time) and now that some of these deals are starting to cross the line with payments due, the raising of funds is less and less in focus. If they merge with a large company then a fund raise may not even be required. I like this set up at the moment because at least we are seeing strong buying taking on the continuous seller! The buy/sell battle has begun and I have a feeling IES will be in a far better shape (SP wise) in Q1 23.
