I've only been through one consoli before and that was 18 years ago.

As far as I can remember the value of your monetary shares / investment should not diminish (initially on the day), just the number of shares you hold. Of course the value will then rise and fall in line with the actual SP performance from there on.

If you were to start losing money from a consolidation then no one would vote for it. As i said its been a long time and Im rusty so all the Sensai out there feel free to let newbies and returnies know how this works..........

Do we have to sell though Mitch? I would rather keep my consolidated shares and enjoy the ride as I think this will be in the £££'s 5 years from now?

I see Lloyds intends to do a 2billion plus share buy back by December or early 2020.

Do I have to participate in this, sure I would be offered less than I paid last year.

Is it better to sell and go back in again. Heard it can affect the price but imagine they would go up not down with less in circulation.

First time I've held shares subject to this and no articles I've seen appear to cover senario where you want to keep your shares
