Hi I agree with your points however that said, Dipstick Trump (I won’t address him by the office he holds as he’s not deserving of the office) is an uneducated, arrogant pig generally and certainly regarding the ways and culture of the South East Asians/China. They will never bow to pressure as this would be to 'lose face'. This is extremely important to them, more so than money if needs be.
I have worked with Singaporeans, Vietnamese, Taiwanese and Koreans and they’re all exactly the same. Negotiations with such are always supposed to be a very congenial meeting of minds, always good mannered and they always take time. Many a good lunch, dinner and getting drunk in-between with opposite numbers was the norm. The culture is very hospitable but the golden rule is never lie or try to bully them.
Trump is a habitual liar, a racist and in my personal opinion, a crook.
Isn’t it remarkable that the Democrats are now looking at possible market manipulation around some of his polices and comments? Something I’ve been telling my family and friends for the past 18 months as I was convinced he was doing something similar. A Trump Scenario – ‘I’ll say this wild comment out loud knowing the markets will go down, friends and family will bag some bargains (cos I can’t in office) and then I’ll say this to make the markets go back up again’. Time after time wild statements have been made from left field since he walked into the White House and which have been reversed soon after. Dow has been like a roller coaster since he started this dark period of reign. Dangerous Dangerous man and the trade war will probably drag on as he won’t back off.
