Morning Genghis, I wonder if the wise DrT might be having the CPR authors watching the live data with him and the rest of the HUR team so that shortly after the 6 months observation of the wells the revised CPR could be promptly issued - maybe Q1 2020? I guess its also possible the CPR authors/HUR might want certain tests done too and perhaps that is why we received the guidance a month or too back that there was extra testing to be expected.

Once upon a time there was a desire in the HUR board to move the company out of AIM and on to the main market (wasnt it in an RNS), I think the pressure should be applied them to answer why they haven't done so. Seems like UK boards have lost their courage for some reason - let's hold them to account on this. G

Hi Shedful, good question on spares. My gut feeling is they will recognise the weakness of the current ropes quality assurance and go for the best available probably ditching any spares they have. From my working experience in another energy sector the delivery of the highest rates, high quality ropes to the accepted testing regime is a few weeks so I'm expecting another few weeks and then off we go again. Also I would expect the crane instruments to be vigorously tested too. Snapping a rope is very rare and not acceptable. So maybe they have some test weights in position underwater to fully test everything and that might why they re-anchored so they were over them. That's my theory! All the best G

Yes the highest load is likely to be then. So pleased that no-one was hurt that is a high potential energy moment in the process. These ropes are supposed to have a factor of safety too. I don't know if anyone else recalls the comment during that excellent hook up video that I recall Miss Dosh gave us a link to then, the supervisor remarked that at the same point in the buoy locking process they were also very close to the safe working load for the crane itself. Hence the combination of rope performance, crane safety, wave action and I assume damping effect from ballast must be critical. Best to be patient to get the the right rope, crane and conditions. G

We are all as besotted as surfers watching ships, weather, waves, oil prices, fractures...how many subjects do we need to be experts in to get a PhD in HUR. It will be a good wave to ride, I think.
